Pre ba cocoa butter etc
Hiya,
Could you all tell me if you used moisturiser on your boobs for a few weeks before your ba? I was unsure if it would help but assume it can't do any harm making myself more supple and elastic lol. Any thoughts and if so what make did you use?
Thankyou all x

I did. I religiously would use cocoa butter at least twice a day in the run up. Not sure if it helped or not but I figured that anything I could do to help my skin to get ready was worth a try x

Re: Pre ba cocoa butter etc
It definitely helps clover
Keeping your skin moisturised will help keep it supple therefore helping to prevent stretch marks post-op.
I'm not saying you 'wont' get them. Some women do no matter what they do, but it will give your skin the best opportunity to fight against them. xx

I didn't do anything pre-op but I think in the future when I'll eventually need a re-op I'll moisturise with cocoa butter. As you say, it can't hurt and the benefits greatly out weigh the small effort of rubbing a bit of cream on them every morning lol xx

Re: Pre ba cocoa butter etc
I used bio oil as I am very prone to stretch marks. I dont really believe that creams help to be honest but you never know and I figured it wouldnt do any harm. I got loads in pregnancy on my tummy and I had some on my boobs already. I had a BA and uplift so hopefully as the skin isnt stretched quite as tight I will dodge the stretch marks but as I am prone to them I wouldnt be surprised if it happened.

Me too. Already have stretchmarks on boob and my belly is horrific. But I did read that a ba can improve stretchmarks sometimes?

Re: Pre ba cocoa butter etc
I used cocoa butter for about a month before op. can't say yet if it helped, but at least I got into the habit of applying moisturiser so it won't seem like a chore when I can start applying it again post op!!
