Re: First surgeon consultation
They will tell you what implant and size is suitable for you and it's your chance to ask any questions you may have. I went to one on my own and another with my hubby it's if you feel comfortable going on your own. I found it better when I took my hubby as he asked things I hadn't thought of and remembered things the surgeon had said xx

Re: First surgeon consultation
Oooo exciting! Well he will want to see your chest and he should go through everything ie placement, sizes etc with you. He should be able to answer all questions you have.
Good idea to write down questions. I also took pictures of boobs I liked the look of to show him to help him to understand the look I was after x x x

Yes and no, I took my Mum but I actually think I would have been better by myself because by having someone other than the surgeon there I think I was a little uncomfortable trying the implants on and discussing sizes. But it does help someone to think of questions and take notes etc.x

Re: First surgeon consultation
I went on my own the 1st time as my other half was working. It was just fine and my surgeon made me feel very comfortable. He came with me the second time and we went over stuff if forgotten on my own x

Re: First surgeon consultation
I would definately take a look at our consultation notebook, print it off and take it with you, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
then maybe your mum could fill it in for you as you go along. If anything is particularly worrying you feel free to ask your surgeon, no matter how small of insignificant you think it may be, cause if you don't ask it, believe me it will play on your mind and no question is too small to ask.
