Can you wear a bandeau top as a bra?
This might be a silly question but just wondering if you can wear these types of top as a bra (once you're given the go-ahead to wear a normal but non-wired bra) or would they not be supportive enough without straps? They feel secure and have banding around the top and bottom, but I wasn't sure. The one I have actually covers all of my boobs unlike the one in the picture. x

My surgeon said to me that from 6 weeks I can slowly start to treat my new boobs as "normal" boobs, and the only time something is a no-no is if you try it and it causes discomfort or pain.

You're fine sweetheart.
You want to take a bra with you in your bag though, just incase your boobs start to ache without the support, if they do, you could maybe pop a bra on and a jacket over so you don't see your bra straps, or if you have a strapless bra maybe try that? But if they feel fine, then leave the bras off hun, as Maria has said, once you get the all clear from surgeons, you can treat your new boobs just like normal from then. xx

Thanks both! :) I haven't seen my surgeon since the op yet, I'm due to see him on the 22nd, but the nurse gave me the all clear at 6 weeks to wear normal bras (non-wired). I'll give it a go, but take another bra with straps in my bag, thank you xx

I've been wearing these instead of normal bra's quite abit and had no problems except chronic nip on in Sainsburys earlier near the fridges haha.
If you're comfortable and have the all clear from your surgeon then go ahead.x

I love bandeau tops, much more comfortable than strapless bras. I used to wear them before having kids, but my boobs went south afterwards. I've only just started wearing them again now that I have pretty boobs again xxx
