sports bra
How long did you post op ladies keep your sports bra on for? I've got my friends wedding in 2 weeks....i'm seeing mr topping on monday night to have my 5&1/2 week check up so hoping he'll say i can exercise to tone up for the wedding and maybe allow me to wear a nice bra for the wedding.
Will it be ok to take off the sports bra for the wedding and wear something that gives me a killer cleavage? Not seen most of the people at the wedding since I left college (4years ago)....wanna look HOT lol x

Re: sports bra
Hi renz!
I thought you could wear normal ones at 6 weeks? God I hope so!!
I know this isn't much good because it wont give a killer cleavage, but I was told at my 2 week check up yesterday to take my bra off for a while each day, and to wear a vest top or a vest top with the support bit at the top, which I'm guessing means it would also be ok to wear a non-underwired bra for a short while too? I was told it was fine to do that if you've had an uplift.... so I think you'd at least be able to wear some sort of bra other than a sports one even if you cant have an underwired one?
Good luck though and I hope he says you can xx

Re: sports bra
thanx babe...he told me at the last one that because I had an uplift I had to make sure i kept the sports on for longer as it was important to stay supported.

Re: sports bra
I would think you will be fine for a day Renz, as long as it is a supportive bra as you also had the uplift. We are all given different advice as you know, I would just check with p.s. what he advises for you. Good Luck xx

Re: sports bra
I was told 6 weeks hun, as you had an uplift i guess its different, see what your ps says, im sure one night wont hurt but if they start aching have a support bra to hand x
Re: sports bra
I was 5 weeks and was in underwired bikinis and surfing too! But I did have overs and had an easy ride I think. Even then I took it easy. I think you'll be ok to wear a nice bra for your friends wedding.
