Re: September Buddies
GA scares me as I see people in theatre under a GA and it is scary that you are paralyzed, intubated with a machine breathing for you.... its not nice to watch and everytime I see it I think "thats gonna be me in a few weeks...."

Re: September Buddies
Aaaaw I hadn't really thought too much about the actual surgery, just more about the fact I'm gonna have big boobs
I really don't like the thought of being intubated but its not for long so I can deal with it. I'm more concerned about not being able to go to the toilet haha :/

Re: September Buddies
hey bouncydd and ks4111! not long now ladies! the time is flying by! eek!
welcome louisehxo!
5stonedown - im the same more concerned about going under aneasthetic then the pain afterwards - thats not even a thought at the moment - i just have this panic that i wont wake up! stupid i know but just cant help it. my surgeon has said that he will give me something a couple of hours before my op to calm me down and im also first down on the list so there isnt much waiting around- i did tell him he may have a runaway patient on his hands due to nerves! has your surgeon offered anything to help calm the nerves on the day? xx

I am 32 empty B so actually an A, size 10 top and bottom, 5.8 in height, I breast fed for a long time, and did go up to a very full D, but I have always had mild tuberous breast, but since I breast feed my nipples have sagged. So I was offered a donut lift to give me the look I am after.
Good luck with meeting your new surgeon hun xxx

im feeling ok about it, just realy hoping that i like him!!
Im having a nervous night tonight, it seems im fine one min and the next im freaking out about everything.
Its like when your pregnant (the first time), you know you realy want what is happening bt your frightened to death of the unknown.
Being pregnant the second time is crap, you TOTALLY know whats coming and are powerless to stop it!!! :) lololol
Sorry to all the future mums lolol, i NEVER have to do it again!!!

You have done really really well hun!
I was just having a giggle about you running around the block,
I actually have to go and get my BP checked tomorrow and ring it through to them, did you have to do this?
Whats everyones implant profile??

Re: September Buddies
how exciting 5stonedown!! im sure you will be fine re your blood pressure at your pre op.
hope everything went well meeting with your new surgeon ks4111, you should get your pre op appointment through soon, im with transform and am booked in for my pre op and final payment on the 29th august.
as for work i have just pre booked 2 weeks off and advised them that i am having surgery and have been advised by my GP (didn't want to say clinic / surgeon in case it was a bit obvious) that i need 2 weeks for recovery. my manager tried to probe further but being in HR i knew that you do not have to disclose anything to your employer and your doctors note only has to say recovery from surgery to suffice. i have been walking around the office with chicken fillets in these past couple of months so that its not too obvious after the op (dont know who im trying to kid though!) ha ha
hey bouncydd - im currently empty 34d going for 340 high profile overs - aiming to be a dd/e and having a lollypop lift. what date is your surgery?

Re: September Buddies
hey bouncydd,
i was going to go for the nipple lift but wanted to have mine reduced also so we decided on a lollypop lift but the surgeon has said he does not need to go all the way down incision wise if that makes sense so my scar wont reach from my nipple all the way under my breast.
yeah i think lifts are slightly more invasive, plus we will be under aneasthetic for slightly longer, i actually cant wait for 2 weeks off - will probably be complaining of bordem after the 1st week though! hee hee
not too long to go for you hun its so exciting but on the other hand nerve wracking! ahhhhh xx

Re: September Buddies
Yes Lau! I am having a donut lift in order to shape mine and trim my nipple sizing as well so I all looks right, so my scaring will only be a circle around my nipples xxx
