I'm having a stress over my left breast - panic
Hi,
I'm sorry - I know I've been on here a few times with 'concerns' but I've got soooooo panicky about my left breast tonight that I really need to POST
I'm 8 weeks and my left one hasn't dropped at all. It's smaller that the right one (which feels lovely and 'normal') and still moves around the pocket all the time. I can feel the ridge of the implant on the cleavage side or my breast and it feels like it's pushing out a bit.
I am starting to think that the pocket might be too small for the implant to settle into.
Please please tell me again that this is normal ....... if not just tell me the truth
I had so much pain the first time around that I don't think I could go through another op for a revision.
Has anyone had similar and it all came good in the end?
Sorry for being a stressypants x x

Re: I'm having a stress over my left breast - panic
I had this on my 1st BA, my left one had dropped perfectly into place, and the right one was higher up and smaller. I dont mean to be negative but the right one never did drop like the other, I just had to put up with it as when I questioned my PS he said that " you weren't symmetrical pre op, nothing can be done". When I had my 2nd BA, I got it corrected so my boobs are symmetrical now, although I've got worse scarring ( a longer scar ) underneath the corrected boob as a result. However, some girls have odd boobs for a few months and they do even out. x

xplayboybunny - thanks for your reply
I'm glad your happier with your boobs now. I've got a horrible feeling that it's not going to drop as it's not changed at all. I've got my chest band on but it's refusing to budge.
I'm trying to not give up hope just yet .... but the weeks keep passing and it stays the same. Naughty boob!
I know misf1 and a few other have said that their second one took quite some time but knowing that for other it just didn't drop is a worry - it really does look smaller and a loss less full as well - not at all happy with the way they look. Can't see my PS until I'm 12 weeks so this is the only way of trying to put my mind at rest.
xx

You are still quite early post op Hun, you still have lots of changes to go throug, each boob goes at its own rate, maybe wait a little longer and see if anything changes x

Hey again chick...if you look through the boards, I had posted a topic just like yours.
To reassure you, you are very early post op. It WILL get better. I thought exactly as you are about the pocket size....my words were more or less the same as yours.
Be patient xx

Oh you lovely lovely lovely ladies ................
Ok, I'll try and relax. I am trying to be so realistic about my expectations and recovery but it's hard!
You really have helped put my mind at rest (again).
