Newbie freakin out! Empty Newbie freakin out!

Post by pinktwinkletoes 26th May 2009, 10:28 am

Hello,

have been lurking for a while but my first post!

At my first consultation I tried and liked 280cc anatomicals, when measured my surgeon found that these would be too big for the natual look i am seeking and suggested 245cc Rt and 255cc Lt.

A couple of months following i returned for another consultation to check sizes. I said I would like to be a full C and took along a pic of Abi Clancy, who apparently is a 32C. I tried the implants i was meant to be having but also tried lots more, i really liked a size and felt it looked natural only to be told that it was a 410cc implant! Shocked After being measured again he recommended the 410cc anatomical implants.

I freaked out a little coz thats so big compared to the inital "quote" but felt they weren't too big and just looked like natural full boobs. However once I've come home i'm beginning to think that it will be far too large for my frame. Tried rice boobs of about 250-300cc (can't be sure!) and boyf thinks they look proportionate to frame but any bigger and it may overpower my very thin body.

I am currently very slim (exam stress!) pretty much size 6 and ribcage is 27inches, wearing a 32A bra with gel which is too big.

Now on reading the forums i am freaking out that i will be an e-f cup which would be too much for me, I think anything bigger than a small D cup would be too big and might attract too much unwanted attention.

My friend who came to the appointment feels they look natural and not too big but my mum and boyf think that its a large jump from my current statitics!

Pretty much i have no idea what to think anymore and wondering if anyone of similar size has had implants of this size or if anyone has any advice it would be very much appreciated!!!

Thank you for puting in the effort just to read this!!

Twinky

P.s I am two weeks on thursday (argh) and am thinking 370cc sounds a little better!

Hiya, welcome to the forum, I'm a size 6/8 quite petite/slim 5'3 was a 32AA and got 275 mod unders and i'm now in a 32D. Smaller implants on petite women with smaller frames go further. I know a 410 on me would look huge on my small frame, did you ask your surgeon why he jumped to a bigger implant? If you're after an Abi Clancy natural/small type look his first suggestion would be better x

I think 410 will get you to an E/F at least so i would go with the initial sizes you were given definitely. I had 315, i wore 32a before (which was too big) and im an E so i would def go with the smaller sizes you were given so you get your natural looking C cup/small D cup x

Newbie freakin out! Empty Thanks girls

Post by pinktwinkletoes 26th May 2009, 11:16 am

At my initial consultation I tried 280cc and liked them but when he measured my BWD and chest wall he recommended 245 and 255, however I never tried these.

After contemplating I decided to go back and check and try sizers on again we tried all various sizers without looking at numerical values and the ones i liked happened to be 410cc.
I stated that my mum would freak out if was bigger than a C/D and he measured me and said i'd be no bigger than a C and he was aware that I wanted the natural look, I am having anatomical unders.

Am now thinking that 300cc woule be just that little bit bigger than the 280cc I tried and liked. Do you think I should go back again, considering it is in two weeks time?

thank you for your help girls. This is a fraught time, cannot cope with the stress, its not fun anymore!

What company is it? You could look up your BWD on the catalogues, if he measured yours and recommended 245s how could 410s fit? Unless they were a really high projection maybe. Sorry you're feeling stressed, deciding on size is the hardest part, I think you should definately go back and see him and ask why he jumped from 245s to 410s and if they would fit your bwd x

Hey lovely.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm similar stats to you, 5'3, 26in ribcage, size 8. I had 340cc overs as although I was wearing a 32A my actual size was soemthing like a 28B. I am now a 28G......... BUT...... I NO WAY actually look as big as that sounds. My SIL is a natural 28G and her boobs are massive compared to mine. I think I look a C/D.

I think in general you go up about a cup size per 100cc. That's a very general rule though. Also added to the fact if you have unders, I think you'll lose 10% of the size due to the muscles compressing the implant. Also... try not to be bogged down by cup sizes. Bra measurments aren't a science, they're used to measure clothing. So even if you were to measure a 32E, you'd look a lot smaller.

As the girls have said, did you ask your PS why he gave you that amount?

If you really love the size you looked when you tried it on, then I'd advise going with those. If you PS is happy you'll get the look you want, then you should trust his judgement.

Oh my thank you all so much for your help. I am so torn, I did really like the size I tried on and feel my surgeon was very aware I didnt want to be too big, but am still so worried. I asked my PC to email Mr Sterne (mybreast) and ask if I could have 370 as had those in at the same time and felt they looked good and as they were a little smaller to err on the side of caution! He didn't jump, we just started trying the 245 and just kept trying bigger implants to see whether i thought too much or not enough. I liked the 410 and 370 so he said that he felt i'd be happy with the 410 but going on that I guess he'd let me have 370 as they were very similar!

I agree as does my mum on the not size but how they look, however my boyfriend says a DD is too big, and he is going on a friend of mine who has natural DD boobs. I understand his concern I wouldnt like people looking all the time, it would be one extreme to the other comments due to no boobs, to comments for too big boobs!

I think he just worrying that DD sounds a bit "fake" and doesnt want people to be leery! i understand i don't. but i also feel that someone who is a 30DD is not the same as a 32 or 34 DD.

Oh my its so stressful. Finally as i said i am not too hung up on being a 28-30DD etc but I would find it very amusing/irritating going from unable to buy bras to fit, to being unable to buy (reasonably priced) bras to fit on the other end of the spectrum.

essay over! Sorry girls!

P.s I'm supposed to be writing a presentation on my final year dissertation to present tmrw! This is much more pressing!

I think anything around the 300 mark would be ideal for you. I find it really hard to buy decent priced bras, mainly becasue I've got a narrow back, but not many ranges go up to a G.

Agree with Roxy, i think around the 300 mark or less would get you your natural look (C/D cup), any bigger implant and i think they would look not how you want (E cup or bigger) x

Okay, my PC has just rung and has she will order 370 and 410 but i think maybe ordering 370 and 340 would be better. No bother with the 410 at all, they gonna be too big. does that sound like a good idea, or do you think 340 will still be a little big?

hey hunnie.i was 30AA and a size 8 and i had 385 and i'm now a 30FF( look DDup!)= BUT i really like the slightly fake look+look a little too big for my frame! if i'd have wanted the natural look for my frame then i think 300--350 would suited perfectly!
