Hi Newbie Here
Hi
ive been looking at having a BA done for a few Months now, been looking at Birkdale Surgical Centre and would be going to the Liverpool Branch. has anyone else had a BA one here and if so with which doctor? it seems a little suspicious as it is only £2500 there?
thanks in advance!!

Hi, I'm not sure because I'm only aware of the sort of cost in the London area. Is it a BAAPS. Surgeon you had your consultation with? If you don't feel comfortable where you went, perhaps book a few more consultations and see how you get on. Welcome to the forum . Xxxx

Re: Hi Newbie Here
It does sound a little too good to be true, I think we've had one lady who used the birkdale clinic.
We'd always recommend seeing a few surgeons first. LRger companies such a
A mya, transform etc are free however you usually see a Pcc first then allocated a surgeon .
Have you got a nuffiled/spire / bmi hospital near you? These normally use baaps surgeons and if you book a consulation with them you will see the surgeon direct however there's usually a fee for seeing them however you get an I rushed I. Depth consultation.
My breast use baaps surgeons and only charge £25.
You can always have a couple of free ones and one baaps one and use them all to compare. Xxx

Re: Hi Newbie Here
Hello and welcome!!
I've started a diary in the 'my boob job diaries' part of the forum which may be of use for you to read. I had 2 consultations which were free with The Hospital Group and Harley Medical, which one was a complete sales pitch. I then met a BAAPS surgeon (£100) and I felt so much as ease! So I've booked my surgery with him. Although I had to pay for the consult, the surgery is actually no different in cost x

Yes HERE
He isn't I'm afraid.
There's also the gmc register however this is only a general practitioners register so no specific for plastic/cosmetic surgery.

Re: Hi Newbie Here
It's defiantly worth taking your time to have a few consultations. I went for a few over the years but never done anything about it. I finally settled with a private surgeon BAAPS etc and had my op at the bmi sloane beckanham . I felt at ease totally xxx

Re: Hi Newbie Here
There's a few ladies on here used Sultan Hassan who works in the Birmingham area too , another one for you to have a look at.
It's recommended you have a few consultations to explore all your options , as Mrsball has said the Breast Augmentation Information section has lots of very useful info when planning a BA & the lovely ladies on here are always around to answer & advise you where the possibly can when it comes to questions, so just ask away!
Enjoy the forum, we have a fab bunch on here! XXX

Welcome to Breast Buddies Faye
The best advise we can give you lovely is research. Don't rush into anything, take your time, see a few surgeons, we dry much advise at least one of those surgeons being BAAPS. Mrsball has left the link in one of her posts so if you click the 'find a surgeon' section you can take things from there seeing surgeons qualifications and places of work. I will add that often many women are put off the consultation fee that are requested to see a BAAPS surgeon. This fee could be anything from £100-£200 but many ladies have requested this be taken off the final cost and it's been done for them. Also if you still feel its a little steep (I assure its not...not for the calibre of surgeon you'll be seeing, but horse of courses and all that....) you can see a BAAPS surgeon through a clinic called MyBreast for just £25. Whichever way you wish to go with your surgery, please do at least have the experience of seeing a BAAPS surgeon and of course whichever surgeon you do choose, BAAPS or not, we're here to support you all the way. So any questions at all...please just ask.
