Hey post-op ladies!
I've got a few questions...
-How long did it take till you dropped and fluffed?
-How long did your recovery take?
-How are your scars looking?
-Do you still wear sports or non-wired bras to bed? And will you always?
-Do they look much different in wires?
And finally...
-Where is the best place for bikinis?
Thanks in advance lovelies xxx

Re: Hey post-op ladies!
Dont think I will remember all your questions My 1st b a recovery was quick, went back to work within a week (would nt advise that though) 2nd ba recovery was far longer due to having a capsulectomy due to cc. I wore a sports bra for 6 weeks but always wear a bra at night because I dont like them rolling around at night! My scars are very neat and unless I lift my boobs up ,and why would I ,you cant see them. And yes mine look very different in a wired bra as per my avi than they do in a sports or non wire bra.The dropping and fluffing happened almost overnight this time for me I think and it was quite quick for me but it is nt for every one. Cookie is the one to ask about that I think. And finally cant answer the bikini question as I am too old for them now lol XX

-How long did it take till you dropped and fluffed?
I'm early PO but I've started dropping. It will differ for everyone but generally can take 6-12 months to see the final result.
-How long did your recovery take?
at 3 weeks I felt fine, at 6 weeks I was capable of a normal routine, now I feel like I haven't even had an op and like I naturally have very firm boobs.
-How are your scars looking?
They're ok but they're new still. I'm too lazy to put creams on or moisturise them, but they don't bother me anyway. Maybe if Mr Clarke advises me to do so I will.
-Do you still wear sports or non-wired bras to bed? And will you always?
I was given the all clear to sleep without at 2 weeks. I wear these though because I prefer to keep them under control lol (I have just bought an extra few) they are sooooooo amazingly comfortable. Low support though so only for bed and I wouldn't suggest getting one until you get the all clear to go without. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
-Do they look much different in wires?
I hope so... I haven't tried one yet. Sports bras are designed to compact them though so I imagine so!
And finally...
-Where is the best place for bikinis?
I have absolutely no idea about this one... I'd probably go for trusty Topshop
Xx

Re: Hey post-op ladies!
Hi
I think I can remember the questions!! I can't remember exactly when I dropped and fluffed but I think it was around three months. I'm now just over a year post op and during that year they have changed quite a bit.
After my op I took two weeks of work which was enough for me, I think I recovered fairly quickly after my op as I was able to do most things without any problem - but I know that isn't the same for everyone, I guess I was lucky.
My scars now are very faint infact if I don't point them out I don't think people would notice them.
I sometimes wear a non wired bra to bed and the only reason I do is I find it more comfortable especially round my time of the month when my boobs are tender.
As for wired bras I'm not really sure as I've never really compared the look to non wired and finally I've found Debenhams have a nice range of bikinis as they also have cup sizes
I think that answered everything x

It was 10 weeks when both my boobs had dropped and 12 weeks before they fluffed, but by 6 months post-op, they had settled further, dropping a little more giving a much more natural appearance and feel.
How long did your recovery take?
For my 1st BA, I was up and out by 3 days post-op and felt great! Of course I had to wait for all the dropping and fluffing stuff, but I really did have an amazing recovery first time around.
Second time... not so lucky, I was in hospital for 2 days, then in bed for a further 2/3 days after I'd gotten home I was so sick from the GA and had a heavy bleed. I didn't feel right for a long time and because my boobs looked so YUK at first, it affected me mentally and really brought me down, which was hard for me being a mostly positive person having this voice of doom shouting in my head lol, so I think it took me a good 3 months to recover from my second surgery.
How are your scars looking?
1st BA - Great! hardly anything thing at all, my scars were so small, I would literally have to show to enable you to see if you hadn't known I'd had a BA.
2nd time uplift - Horizontal and vertical is amazing, far better than I ever could have imagined, but I unfortunately suffered an infection which took it's tool on my areola scars and I'm not currently waiting on having scar revision done.
Do you still wear sports or non-wired bras to bed? And will you always?
If I'm lounging about at home with no visitors, I'll wear a sports bra. It was only after my recovery that I realised just how cumfy there are and they've been my bezzies since! lol
I do wear a sportsbra to bed and I also use a kush (it's a device to place between your breasts, to help prevent sagging) I'm obsessed with them sagging! Being 43, my boobs aren't getting any younger and I hope to keep them 'up there' for as long as gravity allows, so probably do go over the top, but I want to keep them looking like now for long as I can.
Do they look much different in wires?
VERY Sportsbras do your boobs no justice at all and the different bras to achieve different looks from your boobs is incredible! My favourite look is from a balcony bra... I just love how they sit, rather than look shoved and squashed into position. They just look light at home lol
Where is the best place for bikinis?
I personally like Debenhams and they always have great sales when you get real bargains, I've got loads from there and they're fun and flirty and also made in cup sizes too. xx
