What size post op bra is needed?
I am looking for post op bra but i dont know what make to go for and more so what size? i am 32f to 34f and i am having my implants taken out and new ones put in, i have 470 at moment and will be having 560 to 620 or some numbers close to them put back in
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
I'd maybe buy a cup size larger Dawn, so maybe a 32FF or a 34F (remember if you go up a back size, you come down a cup size lovely, so currently you should be buying a FF in the 34 bands sweetie. xx
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
what about in macom as they seem to be in small medium large? :) x
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
Macoms are bought by the band size arent they hun, so if you fluctuate between the 32 and 34 band, I'd stick with the 34 hun, which if my memory serves me right, is the medium. xx
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
debenhams own bras i am 32g wonderbra i am 34e lol so i range in bra sizes that why i stuck what size to buy for after ba, not sure if will have the same swelling with a second op to the first
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
You will still have swelling Dawn, just as you did your 1st BA It's very possible though that you may have a much quicker recovery this time around as most of the skins stretching has already been done and the pocket already created, so maybe try some sportsbras on now to see which sizes fits best, then just buy the next cup size up from there? xx
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
Need to get a new bra as the macom one keeps undoing half way down each night lol Dont know what size i would need, under i am 31 and across i am 40? x
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
i think i more need one that does up at back as i keep waking up on my side and somehow it unclips when i am on my side
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
Maybe go and try some bras on Dawn? If you're happy with a front fastening bra but not the kind that clip together for the reasons you explained then maybe try the M&S zipped front fastener?
Re: What size post op bra is needed?
Weird, my ps told me to use the same size as my old bra but when I did that the band was just way too tight on my incision. I had to go up a band and cup size. Only then did it feel comfortable! I told my ps about it and he said its fine. Whatever feels comfortable. I hunk he jus wanted to make sure ts a mug fit.
I tried the zip front from M&s but it kept riding up and pressing against my incision so I went back and changed it to a light blue one that is cris-crossed at the back and fastens at the back. It is way more comfortable.
