Hi girls advice needed re size/projection

Firstly I apologise for keep going over things but I really need advice re size/projection and as this is a re-op I really need to get it right this time.

I have posted a question to surgeon John Davison and if he has time I know he will reply :-)

Just wondered if any of you girls had any advice aswell, would be much appreciated :-)

Hi Tracy, I just answered the other thread because it's more detailed. After reading about the sizes (diameter vs volume) of the new implants, I would definitely go for the high profile ones if you're not happy with the projection. The diameter will stay the same, you will have more projection and in terms of volume they are less than 100cc bigger, so it won't be a drastic change in terms of size. It depends on how much bigger you want to go from what you are now. Going for the extra high profile will give you the same width and increase your projection by 1cm, this may result in 1 cup size bigger than you are now. Would you be happy with just 1cm/1 cup size or would you like to have a bigger difference. In your position I may be tempted to go bigger again up to the 500cc mark if they allow it, so that you have a noticeable difference. But again it depends on how much bigger you want to go.

Hi misf1 to be honest I don't want to go too much bigger. What I want is alot more fullness than I have now as I seem to have no upper pole fullness it is mainly at the bottom.

There is only my fiance, mum and a few close friends who know I've had the BA and no-one else has noticed. I look very similar now to what I did pre-op in my gel bra.

So although I do want to be a bit bigger/much fuller I don't wanna go too big that it will be obvious.

Switching to the extra high profiles may give you that fullness you require. And 1 cm will make a difference. Maybe go back to your surgeon and show him pics and go over everything again.

Thanks misf1. Im seeing my surgeon again on Thursday night. I am dreading it as he was really mean to me last time! He doesn't like using xhp and said if that's what I want he will do it but will take no responsibility if I don't like! That's why Im panicking a bit - feel like I'll be left to decide for myself what Im having and it all needs to be documented. I know a few girls on the mya website who asked for xhp and he refused - now they are unhappy with their projection. But other mya surgeons seem to love the xhp and offer them out all over the place. Just wanna get it right this time xx

I totally understand hun, hopefully your surgeon will have chilled out a bit by thursday. I've seen a lot of boobs over the years and XHP implants and they do look great on people. Hopefully the surgeon on here will get back to you soon. When wanting to keep the width and increase the projection, to me it seems very logical that increaseing the projection with a higher profile seems the most logical choice.

. I've got everything highlighted in the brochure. Maybe I could go wider though that's the thing - but if Im quite happy with the width then I don't really see the point - do you? x

Not if you are happy with them as they are. If it was 0.2cm each side maybe it wouldn't be noticeable and you could be happy with that. But it would depend on how much projection that would give you. I can see how frustrating it is to choose.

I just know I'll have a battle on my hands as he doesn't like xhp!! Wish I knew why - I know he likes a very natural look and Im wondering if this might be why? But then again I don't want a fake look either!!

It's so-oo hard!! x

Hi Tracey. I totally understand your concerns on getting it right this time-I've been there myself! I think the implants you ave chosen out sound fine and I cant understand the reluctance of Mr Traynor to use them. Mr Traynor suggested extra high profile for me and although I am around ten stone and five ft 6 I have a "good pair of shoulders" on me so I'm not slightly built that way. My bra band size is 30-32 with 32 being more comfortable. I feel that I haven't got a lot of upper pole fullness but I do have unders. I haven't got any photos yet of my re-op but if you are going to the Newcastle clinic we could arrange for you to look at them in my file.

Aw thanks Red, that's so nice of you to offer to show me your photos. Unfortunately I have to go to the Manchester clinic this time though :-(
So Mr Traynor recommended the xhp to you? I know a couple of other girls who he has given them to so I cannot understand why he is telling me he doesnt use them! What size did you get? Are you happy with the projection? x

Hi Tracey. I had 750cc unders which sounds absolutley huge but they really are not and no-one has noticed that I had a re-op! I am much happier with the projection and also the feel of them-I had responsives. My first very unsucessful with spire in 2008 I had 390cc unders-they were allergan natrelle style 10 which although classed as moderate profile they only had a projection of 3.8cm! I have picturetrail of that ba. I saw surgeons with transform and mybreast before meeting Mr Traynor and they all recomended around the 700cc. I think this was because I had very wide natural boobs. I will try and take some pictures before the weekend. I think the implants you want really sound ideal. Has Mr Traynor given you an explantion as to why he didnt wand to use extra high?

When I went back to see him he wasn't nice to me at all. Think his ego was affected due to needing a reop!! When I said to him I was unhappy with the upper pole fullness and wanted xhp he said he didn't use them! However, he did say he would give me them if that's what I wanted!! It's just worried me that he doesn't like them! I know he likes very natural looking boobs so maybe that's why but then I worry cos I don't wanna look fake either!
I think the xhp is what I need though I just need him to agree xx

I think I needed the extra high projection because I was very flat chested pre ba. I measured a 32c pre ba but that was because of the width of my boobs. Bras were a nightmare to fit! I really think if he thought extra high would look too fake he wouldnt do them and is being awkward because like you say his ego has been dented! There isnt a huge amount of difference in projection between the high and extra high. Mine dont look fake at all and the fitter in bravissimo didnt even realise I had a ba. I will send you a pm with picturetrail of my first ba and will definitley get pics before the weekend of re-op so you can compare.
