I suppose it's the usual advice re covering up the scars in the sun. I'd prob say go easy tho as your skin will be a bit stretched and prob a bit sensitive. i've just got a lovely bottle of instant spray tan from Rimmel which doesn't smell yukky like other fake tans and you just spray on and rub a bit and voila, nice golden tan!

Hi,
It's 6 weeks. Not sure if you need to put block on/cover your scars after that.
I'd just come back from holiday when I had my BA and I'm desperate to get onto the sunbed so I don't lose my colour but I'm going to fake it.
I don't want to risk interfering with my scars and am going to do everything by the book!
The St Tropez Mousse is supposed to be good - I'm going to get some of that!

Hi hun,
I work in a tanning studio and have alot of customers who have had and are having breasts done, as long as the scars are covered u should be perfectly fine as it's the healing of the scars the UVA can effect :) x

hey lovely,
As shell said, the healing in itself won't be affected by a sunbed, it's just the pigmentation that can, ie your scars may be darker.
If you cover your scars first with factor 50, then with two everyday fabric plasters you'll be fine. That's how I did it. I actually don't use anything on my scars now, as they seemed to actually look better after a sunbed sesh!

Re: sun beds after ba!??
.x. i was told 6 weeks until safe to use a sunbed and like everyone else has said, still to cover the scars. I'm not a big sunbed user, prefer fake, but am going on holiday in about a week so will be having to cover mine up when sunbathing .x.
