Lifting
I'm just over two weeks post op. I feel like I can lift etc now. Am I ok to hoover because I'm still asking others to do it when they come round lol. My mum sorted out my shed yesterday and I sat and watched, I felt awful. But I don't want to do anything too soon and set myself back xx

I've just noticed your post op size. We have the same size implants and were the same size pre op. What size sports bra did you wear? And yes I'll milk it a little longer lol x

Re: Lifting
Honestly hun ,dont hoover yet. I was told 4 weeks and I stuck to that. It was the same as doing the food shopping,1 of my lovely boys came with me till last week and did everything from putting stuff in trolley, packing, carrying to car and putting away. Even if you feel fine it just is nt worth the risk. I remember getting told off by the nurse at my 1st b a when I went for 1 week check up for wearing a top I had to put over my head coz it meant I lifted my arms If people are willing to help, let them.xx

Take a moment to think about how long you've wanted your new boobs sweetheart, now take another moment to think about the dent in your bank account......Now take a moment to think about whether your recovery is worth risking for a bit of dust?
You may feel like you're OK on the outside lovely, but you're very much still healing on the inside. The next time you have a pang of guilt, just think about those first two things sweetie and then knock it to the back of your head.
I know it's hard to break routine and to sit and watch others help. But it really is so important for your recovery not to be lifting or doing too much until you get the all clear from your surgeon babe. xx
