Re: sports bras
Sports bras are meant to be tight. I still have one of my pre op sport bras that still fits me, I still wear it. Sports bras really aren't a good indication of your size anyhow.
I've recently purchased a few bras thanks to the Debenhams sales. All my Debenhams and Wonderbras are 32dd. My M&S granny style one that I bought last week is a 32d, but it's a full cup (covers as much as a sports bra, but comfy, supportive, and not sporty looking for a change, so makes a good transition bra) and on the big size in the reviews that I read. I couldn't buy the non wired M&S t-shirt bras that I wanted, they didn't come in 32dd, only go up to d and gave me double boobs like all the other d's I tried that weren't sports/full cup granny bras.
My point is, don't get hung up on size. I know it's easier said than done, but it's the overall look that counts, and different bras are made and fit differently anyhow. In my case, my sports bras are a size smaller than my pretty bras xxx
