sports bras
just to start a topic on the sports bras every one is using / used? what did you find the best ect..?
me personally (so far)
i have got 2 that i have brought from debenhams at £25 & £22.
i brought a shock absorber at £30.
and 3 from asda well 5 now as i have just picked up some more.
and surprisingly the best/ most comfy are indeed the ASDA £7 for two bras.
i love them.

Re: sports bras
I got asda ones and they were good value for money but I found them a little bit too low cut and a lot of boob waxxs nt being supported. Got sainsbury ones too and the are great and only £5.

Re: sports bras
The Z-Bra was a life saver for me (still is). Also like the Shock Absorber Run for the gym and definately felt strapped in wearing that in the early days.

Hi alexis-bell I'm having my op with Mr Clarke too, how did you find him?
I'm so excited and looking at how good your boobies look has made me more excited
He has recommened overs for me too, 410 or 460. What size were you to begin with cos yours look such a nice size!
xx

Re: sports bras
Hi Steph. It's probably best you ask your surgeon. They will give you advice specific to you and your operation. I was recommended a high impact bra, although some ladies on here are recommended no bras at all (for a period at least).
I got myself into such a tiz about which bras to get and ended up with probably every sports bra on the market in 3 different sizes. I'd recommended getting a couple and keeping the tags, so if you don't wear them then at least you can take them back.

Re: sports bras
Support wise I've found these to be the most comfortable, my boobs keep nicely secure without feeling squashed and the bands stay put!
Shock Absorber Run
Shock Absorber B109
I've been given the all clear to sleep braless, so when I get in and I know I'm going to be doing minimal activity (Sitting at BJSF all night) then I LOVE to slip into this. It's by far the most comfortable one I've ever worn, I can't face going without but its nice to not feel like I'm wearing a suit of armour. Payday I'm buying almost every single colour!

Re: sports bras
That's the one I want too Twinkle but my local m&s doesn't have them. Going lpool next week for second consult Mr Alvi so will nip into Marksies then. Want to try it on after reading the reviews, as most people seem to think the back sizes are stingey. Did you find that too hun?

Re: sports bras
Well my zip up marks and spencer sports bra has just come I have tried it on.
I do think the back size is abit stingy it was tighter than my normal bra is on the first one, I am also a little concerned about the cup size the nurse told me to get a DD and an E I have only tried the DD on but the cups arnt as big as I expectected them to be they arnt much bigger than my boobs u can still actually see my boobs underneath them I expected the bra to drown them I'm scared there's gonna be nothing there after the op now or are the spart bras so small because they have to be tight on the boobs will they be bigger than those tiny little cups I will be devastated if they're not xx

Re: sports bras
Hi, I'm 5 days post op now and I've been wearing a Freya Active Soft Cup Sports bra. It's brilliant, so comfortable and supportive!! I've had to place some gauze over my incisions to stop the band from rubbing, but I only really have that problem at night and if I get hot. It cost me £29 and I would say that it was well worth the money. I've just ordered another one in black xx
