Blemishes on the newbies
Aargh, so it's seems to be getting worse with the heat here. I just had BA 4-4-12 and may have put on too much moisturizer but now am breaking out in the chest area (small raised bumps, no color really) above the newbies, and few small whitehead like blemishes on the front near left and right of cleavage. Any suggestions?

Hi yowza, first I must say that I love your avatar. It's so precious!!!
I read many stories like yours about spotty boobs after the BA so don't panic, it's all normal and they should be fading away after 3 weeks or so. Greasy skin is a side-effect of general anesthesia. I think I would avoid moisturiser in that area for now, and try putting some toner with a cotton pad (avoid the incisions of course). Avoid anything oily

Re: Blemishes on the newbies
I used huggies baby wipes to clean my cleavage (kept away from scars) initially. Then when I was allowed to shower I started using spot lotion on a cotton wool pad. I only used bio oil on my cleavage and boobs.
That combination seemed to keep the spots away.

Who would think I would return to the baby aisle, just for me? Great advice. Not sure what bio oil is (a UK product or moi just clueless) but will certainly look. XOXO

Re: Blemishes on the newbies
Reporting back, as had my 1 mo. post op yesterday, 5-2-12. I found Bio oil, bought knock off brand and really like it for all parts esp. hands, cellulite on booty, and dry forehead. Fragrance is light and nice. Doc didn't know of it either prior, but told me to not put too much stuff on the boobies. Using a benzoyl peroxide system, a Proactiv knock off, and that seems to be drying problem spots. Great on my face. Recep at doc ofc said she heard such systems make you break out more if you stop, so I'm just using very lightly on face and chest. Spot treatin and it's workin out. Doc gave antiBs but gonna avoid unless necessary. Thx all!
