Hospital Group - worrying info?!
Just found the report for THG's hospital Dolan Park on the Care Quality Commission website and they have X's by everything, meaning they're not up to standards. How worrying is this? I was considering going to see another one of their surgeons next week but now I'm wondering is there any point?

Well done for doing your research playboybunny I haven't seen it myself but from what you say it does sound very disturbing. It just goes to show just how important research is doesn't it. xx

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
I'd be worried aswell :S you'd think with the cost of surgery, the hospitals would be top notch. Unsure now! How did you find Mr Hassan Loobs? That's who I'm supposed to be seeing, does he like big boobs or he is tight with the cc's? x

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
Yeah I am, just had a look at it myself...oh dear. The only thing I can go on with that is that is the feedback from ladies on here who have been pleased with their care etc. Only Sincereangel questioned the quality of her room. Oh man!
He is the reason I am going there chick, he is wonderful, so nice, approachable, full of knowledge and empethatic. He doesnt rush you at all. He knows his stuff and I have only read good things about him too. The good thing is, he LOVES big boobs! Not stingy with the CC's at all and will keep in mind what will suit your best too.

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
When I went for my BA (which was cancelled as you may know), the room was very clean, I had no complaints at all.
Mr Hassan is definitely not stingy with the cc's. I've heard he likes big boobs. He recommended 520cc or 560cc for me.

He sounds fab! Great news that he isn't tight with the cc's too, I don't really want less than 500. I've arranged to see him next Wednesday.. just the hospital thing is worrying me now. Like you said I've seen good things written about the hospital but it's worrying that things are not up to standard.

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
Yes, I did think the room was very basic - but it was CLEAN and that's the most important thing :) I also had Mr Hassan and as most of you know I think he's amazing!! Plus, the others are right - he's generous with the CC's and offered me up to 620! I went with 505 in the end :)

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
Hey Helen, I'm still in my 38e sports bra - but it has deffo got loose!! I saw the nurse one week -post op and she told me to change it. but have been ill and haven't had chance yet! Anyway, am hoping to get measured tomorrow, as my swelling seems to have gone. I owuld estimate I'll be a 34F.....I look about DD or E though. They certainly do not look too big for my frame. In clothes they don't look much different but when I'm naked OH BOY!!!!!
I'll let you know anyway and will be posting more pics over next couple of days. Have you had a new date set yet? x

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
The rooms don't need to be anything more than basic. I felt that I was treated amazing there and the hospital to me was outstanding, very clean and very posh, there was nothing inside that hospital that gave me any concern what so ever. As for Mr Hassan, I couldn't sing his praises enough he was fantastic and very thorough and precise about his work.

I was also checked every hour until the morning after, you had a lcd tv with a bed, bathroom with shower and a wardrobe for items along with a safe, not sure what more people would want in their room.

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
Hi girls...can I just say as someone who has had 3 different size implants that bigger isn't always better and you should get what is right for your size and recommended by PS (who by the sounds of it likes big implants.) I had 460cc in before and they were really quite heavy...my mum weighed the implants and they were 1lb 10z each. Thats a lot of weight really and I just know going a little bit smaller is so much more comfortable. Often with bigger implants like the ones I had before they can drop and then people start needing uplifts. I am so not anti big cc...i would just say there is more to consider than size of cc and that is certainly something I would not pick my PS by. I was more concerned with incision scars and the times of sutures he did. Also if he/she would be supportive if things were not 100% and my PS has carried on till he has got exactly what he promised even if the company weren't happy...he wanted me to be happy and confident. So please look at more than a PS giving more than big cc's.
In terms of hospitals I would go by what the reports say. My room was not what I would say was basic. I had a dressing table, wardrobe with safe, plasma tv and en suite. All were clean and tidy.

Did you have your surgery at Dolan Park jay? Sounds like you girls only have good things to say about the hospital, which is good. The report did worry me, as it wasn't just one thing that had an X by it, all of the things did :S

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
Well I would like to add to this too as iv been to thg on numerous occasions, and the hospital it's self in my eyes was perfect, clean simple and good size rooms for a one night stay.. Nothing was ever to much, nurses was brilliant and even sufferin with sickness after ga, they was still fetching me food of what I wanted early hours in morning.. Threatre staff were lovely, couldn't of put my mind more at ease had someone holding my hand all the way through as I hate needles..
And to add to it the after care package is fantastic, I couldn't fault it, if they see a fault they are quiet happy tp fix it hassle free.. And it does also help if u have a fab patient coorindator, mine is absolutely brilliant..
So yes great for doing your research but all hospital have good and bad xxx

Re: Hospital Group - worrying info?!
I wouldn't like to guess how much less but noticbly so for sure. Like don't feel like they're going to fall in floor, my back and shoulders don't feel as bad. Also everyone keeps saying how much smaller my waist looks. Before op had back over hang but this was were weight was pushing out and it's gone. Before I had op I wanted the biggest implant I could get or bigger and now I'd be reluctant. I'm sure cookie went smaller too so she may have another opinion on this. Oh and all my clothes that I couldn't do up and that the boob section of dresses looked odd all fit better! Xxx
