Sensation?
Helloooo (again!),
So I had a crescent lift and BA....immediately after my op I have had full sensation in my nips. Is it likely to stay?! Or could it still disappear into the world on numbness?
Thanks!

Re: Sensation?
It is possible for nerve sensation to come and go while the nerves are mending, the nerves can take up to a year to fully heal and the sensation can often feel quite painful sometimes, sometimes there can be no sensation at all to the nipple or in patches of the breast.
For most of us though it all goes back to its normal self by the one year post-op mark, I know of only 1, possibly 2 women in the two years + I've been here at BJSF who have lost some sensation completely from the breast. xx

Re: Sensation?
No it will probably stay :) you're one of the lucky ones by the sounds of it! I lost sensation for a whole year after having my BA. Due to have 2nd BA soon so I'm prepared for it all over again! x

Re: Sensation?
I could feel my nips straight from waking after op (ppphhhheeewwww! Lol) and still can, tho have bits of numbness on bottom half of boob although i think this is slowly improving. Loosing feeling was one of my biggest fears cos even tho i didnt have boobs before they still liked to play with hubby (nudge wink lol)

Hahaha, yeah I know what you mean ;) !!
I'm definitely glad I've got sensation - but if I hadn't I still feel it would have been worth it. I just love them!! and can't believe I acutally have some boobies!! X
