Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
Hey girls,
I am about to put down a deposit to have my breast reduced at transform with Mr Khan or Mr Chantarsak and I'm really nervous about it. Like all of you, its not a decision I've taken lightly and I am starting to hear mixed reviews about his work which is slightly worrying. I understand that Dr's don't always have the best bedside manners, but its how they behave in surgery thats most important to me. I'm 27, and concerned that if he isn't as good as Transform say he is, I'm going to be left with botched up boobs which noone wants! If you have any advice, or if any of you have experienced his work I'd love to hear from you! Thanks so much xxx

Hi, Marcie, we've 'spoken' on the other forum, and wanted to keep an eye out for you, glad you've joined us on here. Again, I don't mean to scare you but hear are a copule of recent ones:

Hopefully Kay will be on here in the next few days. She's really nice, and I'm sure will be more than happy to help you.
There are plenty of happy ladies who had ba's with Khan. But I personally would stay away from him for anything more complex. I think it's terrible that Transform are still telling people he's one of the best. Yes, perhaps for ba's, but they should be recommending different surgeons to you for a reduction.
I can't give you my own personal advice I'm afraid, I haven't had my op yet. I hope you find the right surgeon for you xxx

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
hi marcie85 when i was looking for a surgeon i had a consultation with Dr.Khan at transform and found him pleasant enough but he rushed me in and out in about 5 minutes and i never got to ask many questions he also said he would not do unders which is what i wanted.
I then came home and googled him as transform told me he was the best but sadly i found so much about him i didnt like, to many mess ups for me so i didnt choose to go with him in the end.

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
Hi and welcome to the forum xx
A breast reduction, as with an uplift is a very technical op and having had two masto operations with Khan and a third with a reconstruction PS to try to fix his multiple errors and three years of misery, my advice is to stay well away from Khan xx
I have a diary on here which tells you everything you need too know, but in a nutshell, I was poorly advised from the start and the actual work he completed was well below an acceptable standard xx When I complained he tried to charge me full price again within the first year x
Transform on the other hand have looked after me, however it did take some time and a bit of a fight to see someone else xx If I could turn back the clock I wouldn't let that man anywhere near me xx as I said a reduction is similar to a lift in a sense that it is a very technical operation and quite frankly he does not have the necessary skills xx
Hope this helps xx

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
Hi ladies!
Thank you so so much for all your advice and just generally being so nice!
I've emailed my coordinator at transform after speaking with Roxanne a couple of days ago and I have suggested that I would like to see Mr Chantarsak, as I can't seem to find anything negative on the guy, unlike Mr Khan unfortunately.
Kay - I'm so sorry to hear about your ordeal, and an ordeal is what it sounds like! I know a reduction is really what I want, despite my height 4ft 11' and my age, 27, its something that has really got to my confidence and I know its something I have to change. despite the risks, I want to go ahead, but understandable with someone who is capable of doing a great job.
To top it off, I'm mixed race and now that my scars do not heal as well as others, so if you girls have any tips on whats best for healing that would be great too!
Thanks a lot again xxx

I think you're doing the right thing cancelling you op with Khan.
Just please before you commit to any surgeon, make sure to do your research. Personally, because of the nature of my op, and getting an uplift being more complex, I really wanted to choose someone who also specialises in reconstructive surgery, and was BAPRAS/BAAPS registered. You're spending a lot of money, and you only have one body xxx

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
I was in process of deciding which surgeon to choose- Dr Khan or Dr Adamo (MYA). Thank God i found this website!
Does anyone had a BA & uplift with Dr. Adamo? (i know it is not exactly a breast reduction , but complexity of surgery is very similar).
All replies are greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
Hi All, im new to this site. Im having my BA in 2 days with Dr Khan at transform in milton keynes. Ive only had one app with him that lasted about 7 mins. Hes doing my nose and breasts on the same day. He didnt ask what size i wanted or anything, he just told me to take my top off, gropped my boobs and then held up these two implants and said yes these ones. I held them and looked down and asked if they were the biggest i could have and then he said no these biggest and grabbed another set for me to hold. Im currently a 38c and b hes given me 460 for smaller one and 410 for larger one. I have no idea what 'profile' im having, dont even know what this means. I dont even know what make my implants are, just know there silicone. To be honest i didnt ask any questions as was so over whelmed with his manner and how i just got handed these implants. As for my nose, i have no idea what hes doing to it. I dont even know what size boobs i will have, ive been told by my patient co to get a 40 E which i have, but i dont know what size i will be after swelling has gone down. I wanted to be an E-F once all healed, and im thinking the implants are way too small to achieve that. Im really frightened as its only 2 days away and ive just realised i have no idea what is going to happen to me or what the result will be! HELP!!!!xxx

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
Hi and welcome Chelsey xx
I think you should seriously consider if you are going to go ahead not knowing what is going to happen to you or with your op and not being completely happy with the surgeon who is going to be operating on you xx
Knowing what I know now, I would have rather cancelled / postponed my op originally than going through what I have for the last three years xx
Even now, after 3 years and reconstruction surgery my boobs are not great as they just suffered to much at the hands of that man xx
I don't mean to upset you, that's not my intention, i just wouldn't want anyone to have to go through what I have been through xx
I'm sorry if that's not really the answer you wanted hun
and thanks Marcie, it's been a rough three years but I'm getting there xx

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
Hi Chelsey.
I think it may be worth giving the clinic a call and asking a few questions. Take some time reading up on here and write a list of what you want to know. It may mean having to postpone your surgery and with that there may be a charge, but its important that you and your surgeon are 100% in agreement with what you're having done. Don't feel rushed into anything.
Good luck x

Re: Anyone had Mr Khan/Mr Chantarsak breast reduction
Hi chelseybum. I think kay and mozelle gave you great advice. I know it may not be what you want to here, but if you are in any doubt whatsoever it's best to put the op on hold. Rhinoplasty is one of the most complex cosmetic procedures, I would want to make sure my PS has the skills to do this. There have been many happy ladies for straightforward BS's with Khan, but lifts, reductions, and especially rhinoplasties are much more complex. You are paying a lot of money, and this is your body, you should be 100% certain you're comfortable with your PS. Also, I wouldn't be at all impressed if I could't properly communicate with my PS. You should be able to have a discussion with him about size, profile, placement, brand etc. without feeling like you're bothering him, this is all within your right to know. To me it's appalling that he hasn't even got the decency to take the time to discuss this with you, this is afterall an expensive lift changing event. I personally would phone Transform tomorrow and tell them you would like to postpone your surgery, and ask to see someone else. Please make sure you are happy with the PS you choose, and that they are fully qualified and skilled, especially since you're getting a rhinoplasty. I'm sorry this may not be what you want to hear, good luck, please keep us posted
