Getting measured

Hi ladies,

I just want to praise Debenhams for its excellent bra fitting service, a couple of weeks ago I went to M&S for a fitting and was told to "try a couple of bras in whatever size you think you are" . The woman then came in to the fitting room and said "oh yes thats fine" and that was basically it, size 34C.

Yesterday I went to Debenhams in my M & S bra and was measured correctly by a lovely lady who told me that the bra I was wearing was too small in the cup and I should be wearing .... wait for it.... a 32DD / E !!!

She then spent a good half an hour bringing me various lovely bras to try on, and I have to say the 32 band felt so much better on me. I can't beleive before my BA I was wearing 36AA as I didn't have a clue what size I should be and would'nt have dreamed of getting measured as I was far too embarrassed.

So anyway, well Done Debenhams, I will definitely buy more lovely undies from there! xx

I went to m&s yest n they were rubbish! I think the lady there was a bit jugemental as she could tell that i had a BA.
Will defo try Debs me thinks.....

I went to M&S for a fitting a fews years ago, and after several attempts and nothing fitting right, the old bag told said 'I can't fit you' and that was that. I later had an amazing experience at Rigby & Peller whose staff are famous for being able to tell your size just by looking at your naked breasts. Although their bras are pricey, you do not have to buy any from them, even if you go there to get fitted.

Was that Debenhams in Liverpool ? I might head into town today as I only have one under wired bra!

I must admit I was quite peeved off with M&S they have an offer on at the moment if you have a bra fitting but when I got to the changing rooms they told me it was by appointment only x

Debenhams in Chester were really good too if you find yourself down that way at any point. Didn't think much of M&S either.

I went to Debenhams in Newcastle Metrocentre and the girl was very attentive. She also asked another girl who was their Ultimo consultant her opinion on one of them. There was no rush whatsoever and unlike I previously thought, I wasn't measured with a tape - just chose a couple of bras and once on I buzzed the girl in to alter straps and check the band. Really happy with the experience.

Bet your well chuffed with the DD/E gillmoo!!!,ive not been measured yet ,just tried loads on and have bought quite a few but i am 31" underneath but find the 34 bands really tight !!,i used to wear 36 A and found that comfy so i dont really know what i am?? xx

I agree, Debenhams is brilliant, I went to the one on Oxford Street in London on Friday and also Bravissimo on Saturday.

They both put me at 30GG or 32G dependant on brand, can't praise them highly enough!
