Sleep position
I've always slept on my front, probably because I had no boobs in the way! Since my BA I've slept on my side and back. I know I'm still early weeks post op but can't imagine ever being able to sleep in my fav position ever again! Do any of you post op lovely ladies sleep on your front? And when did you start? Xx

I'm finding it very difficult to sleep upright, it says on my info after 48 hours I can lay back down, how long after did you lay on your back ??? Xxx

Re: Sleep position
I think I was about 3 weeks post op when I started laying flat. I had my v pillow on my bed for quite some time as each night i felt different. On my side came shortly after. X

Re: Sleep position
I started on my side form about day 8, I dont get cuddles otherwise haha.
Nat I think you can try and sleep lower as soon as its compfy really, I really wanted to sleep flat, tried it and it was agony so went back to being propped up.
Still have my v-pillow now, quite attached to it, bf says hes going to bin it

Re: Sleep position
Nat you don't need to be upright upright, just head and shoulders slightly higher that the rest of you. I had two pillows overlapping each other and the v pillow on them so one of the pillows sat in my lower back for more support. I used my v pillow every night til the 2 week mark as I couldn't get comfy flat, that might be cos I had big implants though. I can sleep flat now most of the time but keep my v-pillow by the bed just in case as sometimes I just can't get comfy.
My favourite sleeping position is on my side - I managed to sleep some of the night last night on my side which was great as I got lovely cuddles from my OH this morning before he got up for work, first time in almost 3 weeks. I can lie on my left side but my right is still too tender.

Re: Sleep position
I used 2 pillows and my v pillow like Aurora did. I was never completely up right. Nat, i hope you find a comfortable way to sleep. Argos sell the v pillow for £10 and it's worth every penny! X

Hi Nat hope your doing well, congratulations on your new additions.
I sleep with 2 pillows long ways kind of tucked under my back and my v pillow propped up and the sides either side of me. I like to lie on my side but I havnt really managed that yet. hope you manage to get some sleep soon.

Re: Sleep position
I don't hold out much hope I will be tummy sleeping anytime soon then. I also did the elbows holding me up which felt like I was doing a press up position. Not easy!! Oh well. I should be used to this as had 2 kids and breastfed so no tummy sleeping then either. X
