Re: March buddies
Barbiegirl your picture is amazing!!! I can't wait now :)
Xaxa sorry I didn't get back to you...I can't even say how sleepy I've been over the past 3 days! We are so similar you're right! Obviously harder to tell in the first set of pics because you had the strappings on straight away and my plastic surgeon didn't give me anything to wear.
Updating my picture trail in 10 mins so you can have another look :)
How are yours now xaxa? Have you done more photos in your picture trail?
My right boob is hurting lots today :(
Girls can I ask...Its weird. I can lift things up but I am scared to because I get that bubbling sound. I shouldn't really should I?
I don't really know what I should/shouldn't be doing.
Any advice?
Hlt thinking of you today hope it's all gone well xxx

Re: March buddies
Thanks flourella! i had the same bubbling thing with mine too! it was a weird sensation, but my surgeon told me to expect bubbles and said it was just trapped air and it will go away itself over a few days and not to worry.
By about day 2 or 3 i had felt great and was doing some housework etc but i suffered for it a few days later and wished i hadnt, i guess its just common sense, just do what you need to do but remember you wont be back to your normal 100% for some weeks yet, try and hold back doing too much and take things easy.

Re: March buddies
Hey Barbie girl...
Think for me the biggest worry (because my implants are tearshape) is that they will turn out of place or something... :(
It says on my guidelines to limit arm movement for 72 hours...I can use my arms to do very little but when I do try and do stuff like make tea that gross squishing sound starts and freaks me out lol!!
I wonder if it's different in terms of arm use for unders and overs?

Re: March buddies
I had overs and no one told me not to move my arms, its just that for me it was too sore to move them and i felt less pain if i sat and didnt move. I couldnt reach my arms up at all for days and days, but i kept trying though cos i didnt want to get too stiff.
I reckon if they told you to limit use of youre arms then id do just that, dont try and do anything at all if you can or get someone else to help out. The squishing noise freaked me out too, at one point if i ran my fingers over my chest just above and in the middle of boobs, it felt like bubblewrap and make the same noise as well, yuck! It does goes away though
2 nights ago i was lying in bed and i thought i heard a squeek from my righty...turned out to be a little fly buzzing past my ear, heehee xx

Lulu, yeah, my nerves aren't even about the op. I'm still worried they change it again. I'm hoping a workout at the hotel gym calms me down. Though I did get a bit nervous when I took the kids to nursery and school this morning, I just love them so much xxx

Re: March buddies
Hi Flower, I'm doing better now thanks. The cough seems to have calmed down a bit but still hurts sometimes. My boobs are looking great, can't stop looking at them but I'm scared to touch them unless it's for cleaning purposes lol
Flourella, my boobies are doing well thanks. The drain bruises faded a bit and I'm putting on bi-oil and arnica cream twice a day. I gained back some strength in my hands but I can't lift heavy things like a kettle full of water. I uploaded photos until day 14 on my picturetrail if you want to have a look. I came off the binder and took some pictures of the scars too.

Re: March buddies
girls tried wearing a sports bra and yeah no can do because I had scar revision along with the new implants my doc want the incision to air out and dry n heal bfore I cover them in any kind of bra so I've been braless since day one but it's annoying having to wear layers of clothes to hide the nips!! Thankfully this week it's been gloomy and cold here in Cali. so I can get away with wearing layers of clothes!! I want to know what bra size i fit into...

Re: March buddies
Hey xaxa,
Did your drain just come out the middle of your actual nipple? or the areola?
I can't really see from the pictures - all i see is glorious boobies
I have to keep steri-strips on for a few more dayws but had the wierd cling-film dressing taken off so looking a lot cleaner and nicer.
Righty has been a bit on/off achey today, but I don't mind cos i can feel it! Still can't feel right nip though :(

Re: March buddies
Hey my March buddies!!! Well, i wonder if we have been the chattiest buddies ever!!! We've got loadsa posts!!! Sorry I've not been on much...as usual work and home take over and I dont have a moment to myself!! All is well with my new friends!! They seem to be settling well.... I think!!! I've taken loads of picsand when looking at them they look good but its like looking at someone else cos the ones i see when i look down seem to be still very solid looking, sore wih ridiculously sensitive nipples!!! I think the soreness may be getting better....but the nips are defo for viewin purposes only!!!
So, Roxanne will be there-RIGHT NOW!!! Hopefully she will now have faith that her new boobies are coming!!! And Roxanne completes our March buddydom!!
Congrats to everyone on their new boobies!! Hope you all heal well and you will start to enjoy dressing them up in all sorts....bras, bikinis, dresses, tops...!!
Hlt-i hope you are ok and not too disappointed and that you can get your blood pressure down in the next 6 weeks x bless you x
Salmac was my 12 March buddy but cancelled due to being unsure about the BA and I believe has rebooked now for April!! Yay!!
Barbiegirl- your avi does look fantastic!!! I cant wait to be able to do a bit more with mine!! They are too sore really to mess about with....either that or I'm a whimp!!! I loved your 'catching a plane' story!!! And that you gave them tramadol and tucked them up for bed in their macom!! Haha!! I'm pleased to hear that you too have what i call 'free boobie time'!!!! Am having some right now as was dancing around in my kitchen too much last night so think I have traumatised them a bit!!!!
Xaxa and Flourella!!! I'm going to check out your picturetrails after i've written this!!
Lulu- loving your avi....they look so lovely and natural!!! Do you have a picturetrail??
Does anyone else find that the boobies you see when you look in the mirror or look down are the same but inflated versions of your own....and everyone elses seem to look proper and so natural....? Or is it just me??? Xxx

Re: March buddies
wow, massive post!
I thought Salmac had rebooked, then she disappeared!
I know what you mean about them looking better in the mirror than from looking down. Mine are softer when my partner does the squeeze test (he cups them and gives them a little squeeze!) but still don't really move much. And they're not symmetrical yet - leftie seems to be settling more than righty. But I'm sure they'll even out.
Was going to do a picture trail this week but have to keep steri-strips on until I resee nurse on Wednesday as not 100% healed at 7d post op. So I'll put it up when I can show my incisions too!
Roxanne might even be awake now! March is all done!
xx

Re: March buddies
Hey Lulu, thank you for the compliments I really appreciate The drains came out right from the middle of the nipple (from the tip) and you can't see scars because this procedure leaves no scars at all. He said that the nipple is a natural scar. I just had some bruises but they almost faded now. I will take 3-week post-op pics and update my picture trail later this week.luluthefirst wrote:Hey xaxa, Did your drain just come out the middle of your actual nipple? or the areola? Yes, Nepoly when I look down, mine have kept the same shape but they are bigger of course. I had told the surgeon to try to maintain my natural shape, I only wanted to add volume and he kept his promise.Nepoly wrote:Does anyone else find that the boobies you see when you look in the mirror or look down are the same but inflated versions of your own

xaxa - lovely pics! Thanks for the view. They look more sore than they prob are cos of the dye stuff but looking good girl! I dont think I had any drains in as I only have 1 scar under each boob where implant went in, also not sure if I even had stitches as not seen any sign of any, even hubby didnt see any when I had dressing changed for first time last week?!
Im really looking forward to following all March girls along their journey discovering our new toys! bring on the summer I say!!! and to helping the newbies in April etc through the pre BA journey.

Re: March buddies
Hey everyone, sorry I've not been on for a few days, im not very well at all, think I've got the flu or something, I'm all aches and pains! My boobies are very tender and a little uncomfortable too, I've just stopped taking tramadol as I was having one at night before bed and it was fine, even helped me go to sleep, but now I'm off it I've become really I'll, I can't sleep at nite, feel sick, shaky, hot/cold temp.. Don't know if anyone else has experienced this too when you come off tramadol?
Nepoly, thankyou do much for the lovely compliments, really cheered me up big time
I'm wide awake right now and can't sleep, my boobs have been a bit achy underneath and are still a bit numb and sometimes not comfy. I've been trying to sleep on my side but they get sore and then it wakes me up again!
Well seeing as its the end of march (2 days ago..) I just wanted to say a big thankyou to you all on this site, you have all made me feel so welcome and helped me through so much from start to finish, although I know it never really finishes lol! I've really enjoyed reading through everyone's stories, I've laughed and cried and everything in between, so thankyou all! You've made me feel better about myself when my family let me down and I've felt very supported.
I hope all the march buddies are healing well, and best wishes for all the April buddies now! The excitement never stops! Xxx
