Going Bigger...

Hi Ladies,

I just had a few questions about re-op's. I'm not sure if any of you can help but I'd be greatful for any advice if possible.

I am thinking about BA no.2 as I did'nt get the size I wanted the 1st time around (on the day of the op PS told me he couldn't fit the size I wanted in there, when in the consult he said he could). Also I went for the natural look but honestly... I think I prefer the fake look. I didn't know 'natural' meant all the volume at the bottom . To me, they are not full enough at the top (I still need padded bras).

The good news is I'm hoping that next time I'll be able to accommodate a much bigger implant, as the skin would have stretched. At the moment I have 365's and I am a 32DD. I am hoping to go up 2 cup sizes (ideally 32F), What size implant do you think I would need?

Also does anyone know if they make the incisions in the same place as before or will I have 2 scars on each boob (apologies if this is a silly question).

Is it more painfull 2nd time around???

hun...you are not the only one who's thinking about second BA!! just after 4 months!! same problem here!...I wanted to have the natural look but now I prefer the fake one....If you don't mind we could share our pics....:)...I've got the low profiles implant,445 and 470 and they don't look bad but they are not full enough at the top...I think that the incisions are going to be made in the same place as before..I had complications after my first surgery and needed the second just after 11 days so they used the same place,and there is no difference from the other one.xxx

Hi Missy77, thanks for the reply. I'm so sorry to hear that you had complications. I hope all is well now. I dont mean to sound ungreatful but the more I think about it the more I want to change them.

Like you said they dont look bad... but just not what I thought they were gonna be. I'm not on picturetrail or anything or I would be happy to share pics. Maybe I'll join in the new year.

Not sure on if it hurts more or anything. But as far as the scars go, from what I understand they basically "cut out" the old scar, then do the implant swap. So the new scar ends up in the same place as the old one, only perhaps slightly longer than the original scar was...

As I understand it, anyway...

I too wish I could of gone bigger but I got the max that could fit in and I've been thinking about of number 2 already. Although it won't be for some time as I can't warrant spending all that again on myself just because I rushed into it the first time and didn't think enough about what I wanted.

To be fair although I've had a few problems which are almost sirted now my ps did exactly as I asked I said I didn't want to look fake and just wanted to be in proportion. When I was trying on the sizes he started with 260 and I kept saying no bigger, bigger etc until at 410 he said that's as big as I can go so I thought right then that's what I'll have.

My hubby wanted me to wait and think about it properly first and research it all a bit more but I didn't I just wanted boobs so for now I guess I'll have to wait a few years.

From what I've read though the scar will be in the same place and the recovery is suppose to be a little easier the second time. Hope so x

Just out of curiosity what do the surgeons do different for the 'fake' look, as surely they place them in the pockets that are made and its your body that sits them in the pockets after so many weeks/months and obviously nature and the weight of the impants and not going to keep them looking 'fake' for very long. To be honest im not 100% sure about this, when are you looking to have the 2nd op, they would use the old scar.

I totally understand where you are coming from hun as I have to admit I feel the same (although could not possibly justify a re-op). I just wish so much that I had gone for the biggest my surgeon had offered me at 470 cc, instead of the smallest at 420 cc! I was so nervous I was going to end up too big and I don't think you realise until you have them in you how they are going to look, how you are going to feel about them etc.

I think the only way you get the more fake look is to go bigger so you get more roundness, but of course you can only go as big as your bwd will allow. Perhaps you should discuss this with your surgeon first and see what size you could actually go to. The bigger the implant the more weight you will need to support with a good bra!

I thought I wanted the natural look but I'm def now pro a more fake look.... can't wait to be able to wear a good plunge bra! You look fab in your Avi by the way xxxx

Do overs not give a more fake look? I don't really Unserstand but I think I prefer the look of overs but that wasn't an option for me :( could it be an option in the future? When my skins stretched a bit more from these implants.

I have asked mr Chantarasak for the natural look, should I have asked for a fake look?

I also want them full at the top but I think missy and miss london have that (or are you wearing push up bras?) You look amazing girls xx

I have the fake look it just means u get the same mix of upper and lower pole and there very rounded! I also have been thinking a lot that I wanted to be bigger went to max I could! Scar will be same place
Ms London and I'd got for 525 to get a f I'm a 30g/gg and had 525 I measure a great size but I think my body could carry 700+cc x

Sorry to hear you ladies are all doubting your boobs..... Missy yours are AMAZING!!! I think they look fantastic, both in your avatar and on picturetrail, and MsLondon you look wicked in you avatar!!!!

Hmmm... this is an interesting thread to read whilst waiting for my op..... been going through all the questions in my head... am I going too big?? Am I going big enough?! I am pretty set on Moderates but wondering if I should go for the high profiles...?! Who knows

Im sure Mr Hassan will do the absolute best for you!! he wants the best outcome for his patients, as per experience and what the nurses have told me! x

thank you debsrich :flowers: ....well,they look good,but I wear padded bra too, just to create that fake look..I'm worry that my boobies are sagging to much!! they look natural,but I'm not sure if I'm happy with them anymore..with time they dropped a lot and it's only 4 months since my op....I'm going to have my consultation in February ,so lets see what Mr Chantarasak says..xxx

Jojo I wish my boobs were that full at the top, without a bra on I look really flat on the top.

Peggysue, yes I am wearing a padded bra. If you want to have fullness at the top and bottom then I would defo explain this to the PS. If I had known that the 'fake' look could look natural and not 'stuck on', just more rounded like nikitaw's then I would have asked for that instead. I also think I would have looked a lot bigger too. I have big boobs right now, but it doesn't look like it because all my fullness is at the bottom.

I was very happy with my surgery, I got exactly what I asked for, but I just asked for the wrong thing . I just thought that round implants = round boobs!... But nevermind, its not the end of the world but I just want to get it right next time.

welshvicci, I think the implants used for the fake look are filled a bit more to give a more rounded look. I dont know, maybe it just looks that way. Or maybe I'd have to go for a bigger implant which I want anyway. I guess I'll find out when I go for my next consult. I'm gonna try to wait as long as possible. I know I cant have it done for at least a year anyway. If I give it 2 years, I'm hoping the skin will stretch and I'll put some weight on lol. (But I'm not very good at being patient).

Mslondon- I had 525's also, they dont feel heavy, I think they look fab, if your defo unhappy certainly speak with your ps.

And thank you for all the comments about my avatar, It must seem like I'm moaning for no good reason, but avartar boobies are the boobs that I want (but bigger) looool. Without a bra, totally different story. Bottom heavy which makes them look/seem too low, knowing that they will sag eventually means this is not a great starting point.

I'm glad they dont feel heavy, I was worried about that. I think I'll wait till at least next year to speak to my PS. Seeing as he couldn't use a bigger sized implant the 1st time, which was only 4months ago, I dont think he'd have much to offer me at this stage. Its not a complication or anything he did wrong, Its just my own personal preference.

Hi, i had my 2nd BA on 2nd November and the incisions are in exactly the same place as the first time, also the muscles have relaxed over the years and therefore the pain on the 2nd was no where near as bad as the first time round. I have had unders both time having 260cc on first BA and 410cc on second.

They where heavy at first but only for a few weeks now I couldn't imagine being without them I still sleep in my sports bra thou don't dare not

I too had a reop due to the first time wanting to go with the "natural" look. I had 350/375 moderate + unders. Didn't like that look at all. I guess I didn't know what I was asking for when I said I wanted "natural" looking. So I had a reop 5 months later going with 500 HP silicone under and am much more happier. I had an easy recovery first time around and the second time around was even easier. Same scar. OP was very quick....maybe 20 minutes. Best thing I ever did.

To get the high fake look, you are going to need to have a very big implant. I would suggest to notice a big difference I would think you would need over 500cc. I know if I wanted to look much bigger than my 410cc implants, I'd need at least 600cc to notice much of a difference.

Thank you all for the info and advice, it is so much appreciated. I feel much more informed now. For those of us who would like to go bigger or rounder, or both, we may need to whisper it in future as it may be a little controversial .

Naaaa shout it from the roof tops Ms London Their your And your entitled to feel and say what you want about them! As are we all on here (one big happy boob family)
