Just got measured!

Well I just popped into town to get myself properly measured as per your lovely advice. I went into La Senza where the lady said the 32 E definitely fitted the best, then I popped into Debenhams and OMG she measured me at 30 F!!!!! I was beaming from ear to ear, until she came back telling me they didn't do most of the non wired bras in this size, they only go up to an E!

However I did try on a wired bra in a 30 F just to make sure it did fit and OMG it fitted perfectly. So at least when I can wear wired bras I know where to go!

Now I just have to try and find some non wired bras. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can look? xxx

Hey i know exacatly how happy you felt. I went to ann summers last sat to get measured and she told me i was a 28f i was sooo happy i phoned my mum and warned her that i was away to tell her the best news ever. Well didnt she think i was preggers as i was that excited! Im not nearly ready for wearing wired bras yet:-( hey jo i see you went for almost the same implants/position as me, can you tell me, when wer you able to get a good night sleep without tossing and turning during the night? As its 3 weeks for me and im still sore in bed. Xx

Congrats on your fitting! when you move into wires Debenhams have a great range in that size. As for non wired I have the same problem so I squeeze into 32E it gives a nice cleavage! I thought Debenhams for non wired was the best option but also check out maternity bras in other stores (and online) you can get ones that are maternity support bras not nursing ones so don't have the flaps, but even in those not many in a 30 band, so I'd just go with a 32 band until you can go into underwires.

Yay, it is soooo exciting isn't it. I was in shock when she said. I couldn't believe it! With regards to the sleeping It's only been the last couple of weeks I would say I am able to sleep normally in bed, though every time I turn over I kind of have to sit up first and then turn rather than actually being able to roll in bed. However I think that's more because I'm scared I'm going to hurt them rather than because I am sore! lol. I'm not too sore at all now, I am almost 6 weeks though so am sure you will find a massive improvement over the next couple of weeks hun xxx

Thanks hun! I had a really good look at all the wired bras.... I could have bought loads and had to stop myself! lol. Will def be going there once I am allowed to wear normal bras :) . I am wearing a non wired 32 E from there now but it just doesn't seem to fit right. The band is a bit gappy and the sides feel quite high up though the projection is perfect. Such a nightmare - didn't realise how hard it would be finding a bra that fits just right!!!!! xxx

Think my 34 band is a bit loose, i measure 31 around would that make me a 32 band??

Honestly Hun, I reckon debenhams is the place to go.... Well to get measured anyway, tho don't expect to find a bra in a 30 F!!! Lol. Omg how hard is it to find a non wired bra in this size! I'm off to marks and Spencer's tomorrow to see what fits there. (i'll prob be told i'm A completely different size!) It's bizarre how each shop you go into, bras fit sooo differently!

I would say you're about the same size as me hun. I'm sure you must be either a 30 or 32 band. xxxx

Jojo , I havent been to Debenhams to get measured yet (M an S said 32E and La Senza 32F) I'm gonna wait til i'm at least 6 weeks now (only 1 more week so i can actually wear a proper bra!hehe. My bf came to la senza with me last week and brought me a couple of bras from la senza as christmas pressies tho and although i cant wear them yet they felt great to try on and his eyes nearly popped out when i showed him them on!haha xxx

Thanks hun. I'm definitely going to try looking at cheap wired bras and take out the wires! Every other shop I'm a 32 E which I'm actually quite thankful for!!! I certainly don't look it though! xxx
