Re: January Buddies
Sooooooooo excited! Especially now my OH is getting excited too
He said today that we need to sit down this weekend and put plans in place for my recovery, move things I shouldn't binge on, write list of foods for me to eat when he is at work, go through all my lists and make sure I have everything......... eeeeeeeeeeeeee!
And you MozElle, only 3 days for you honey - what are you having again? (sorry I get so confused with who is having what!) and what are your stats now? Love your avatar btw

Re: January Buddies
Your OH sounds so lovely. If I send mine down to you for a few days could he train him up? Heehee.
I'm having 340cc MHP partials. Stats are 5'4", 7.8 stone, size 6 top, 6-8 bottom. I currently measure anything from a 30C to a 32C depending on the shop but I'd say I look a 32B. I'm wearing a gel bra in the avatar but if I can end up looking like that in a non-padded bra I'll be one very happy bunny .
I think that you must have absolutely everything by now. The 21st will come round so quickly!

Re: January Buddies
Girls, just a list of Things I found useful:
Earplugs - hospitals can be noisy at night. Even if u have a private room
Eyemask - to sleep in the day
Lip balm/ hand cream - air con makes room really dry
Bottled water - hospital water is gross cis they sterilise the jugs
Fresh smelling Wet wipes - great if u feel a bit clammy
Face wipes - last thing u will wAnt to do is scrub your face
Tic tacs - something to freshen up
Lil snacks/fruit - you may not want much to eat at lunch but it can be a long time until dinner
Spare pajamas - i got clammy in the evening and just wanted to change my clothes
Music - I thought I'd want to read but just wanted to lay back and drift away a bit

Oh and loads and loads of front fastenInh tops. The whole experience isn't nearly as bad as you would think but it's still not nice having to put your arms above your head for a few days afterwards!!

Re: January Buddies
Thanks for the advice SerahMichelle. Ive already written a list of things which includes everything but the kitchen sink. I definately need to short list it.
Can i ask, are you allowed to shower the following day? If not then thats half of my bag unpacked and the other half is the things youve mentioned above.

Re: January Buddies
Hey girls home today after op yesterday. Feeling better than expected, my chest feels very tight but no unbearable pain except in the early hours of this morning due to I assume the painkillers wearing off, although the nurse said it could have been due to me sleeping a little too flat. Overall I'm ecstatic with the results they look great already. Going to set up a picturetrail account soon as I've taken some before and after pics.
Good luck to all the other ladies who have their surgery this month and I hope those of you who have already had it are recovering well.
