Re: January Buddies
Congratulations on your dates girlies!
I had my pre-op appt today and whilst at it booked my 1st post-op check-up for 30th January.
3 weeks and 2 days......... eeeeekkkkkk soooooo excited!!
I plan to get bits like the v pillow once the christmas and new year mayhem is over.
I have a macom bra and am waiting on MelaineP1991's results before I buy any sports bras as she is similar stats to me and has been offered the same implant size options as me.

Re: January Buddies
Sounds like a good plan...
I am too going to get a V pillow; I shall be coming back in my OH's Astravan so I plan to take about 3/4 pillows with me for the 'lovely' journey lol.
I would let him drive my car but its not at fast so I dont really wana extend our 4 hour drive lol.
A van isnt really my style lol.... Knowing my OH he'll go and get the van pull up outside whilst Im waiting and pretend to be a stereotypical 'white van man' and shout
"Get your tits out love" haha x x x

Re: January Buddies
hehe! at least he will make you laugh :-)
I am using public transport to get there, so will have to leave the house at something like 530am and then we are going to get a taxi home.
My OH is letting me go on my own in the morning which is probably best as I am braver on my own. He has also agreed to do a food shop and general tidy so we can chill together when I get home.
It's going to be weird being looked after for a week. I am looking forward to the weekend after as he has booked a long weekend so I have then op on Sat and he is around the Sunday. Then Mon to Fri afternoon he is work so only around in the evenings. Then he is home from lunchtime on the Friday and we both have the following Monday off as I am hoping I will be feeling like doing gentle things like going to the cinema

Re: January Buddies
Hi girls, my bag is pretty much packed, but I know I'll take everything out and put it all back again loads of times yet!
The hospital is only 10 mins from my house so I'm really lucky.
Not feeling nervous at the mo, just excited, and wishing it was this time next week and I was back at home looking good! xx

Gillmoo, wishing you all the luck in the world hunni.
I'm dreading the journey home, I live near Nottingham, so I'm getting the train down Thursday night and staying over as my op is at 8.00am on the Friday, but they let you out the same day, ekkk. I can imagine the train journey back from London going to be fun lol. xxx

Re: January Buddies
I was told that I can be a daycase as long as I am within 90mins journey of the hospital should I need them.
What hospital are you having your op at? Can you ask if you can be an overnight case or stay in a hotel nr the hospital that night? Just thinking giving yourself 24hrs recovery post-op before you travel might be more comfy?
