Is there such a thing as too big?
Hi Everyone,
I had my final consultation today decided on the size ... 460cc (not sure on BWD) think they are high or mod high profile ...
It just sounds so big ... I am bit worried they are too big! I have never heard anyone say they regret having them bigger but has anyone?
Silly question - all implants are sized in the same way? mine are nagor, if they are 460cc then any other make/model of implant that is a size 460cc is the same?
Dr didn't want to guess a size after but he thinks D / DD ... i am currently an A ish .... 34 but think should really be 32... small build 5'4 and 9ish stone..... from all the research I have done on here it is so hard to tell what size you will be - one person's avatar that say D cup is a completely different size to another D cup ....
So excited - just want to have perfect boobies!
xx

Re: Is there such a thing as too big?
I had 465's, but I'm a bit bigger than you... taller, fatter, and with a tiny bit more original boob, but I'm now wearing a 34FF... but they only LOOK to be a DD. Thats what most people think they are.
The most important thing to remember is to get the LOOK you are after, and not fixate too much on your actual cup size. Fake boobs tend to measure bigger than natural boobs, but look smaller. So make sure your PS is well aware of how you want to look post op, and whatever bra size you end up is what it is. The last thing you want is to go through all the pain and expense to be left disappointed. So take some pictures in, and just make sure you're confident he knows what you want.

Re: Is there such a thing as too big?
There is so much angst when trying to decide on the size, as there is no definite guaranteed outcome. At times like this, you need to trust your surgeon and also how you felt at the consultation - did you like the size when you tried them on? Did you surgeon give you plenty of feedback as to whether he felt they were the right size for you? etc, etc. If you let him know the look you were after then I think, together, you have probably come up with the correct size. It is a big thing to go through and we all want to end up perfect, and I am sure you will be happy with what you have chosen. Good luck.

Base width diameter...the width of each of your boosies... shows what implant will fit into it without bursting through your natural flesh.. the profile is up to you but the higher the profile the shorter the diameter so you gotta go bigger cc with a higher profile....xx

Re: Is there such a thing as too big?
Each implant manufacturer make their implants different for example nagor make the 460cc with a certain width and projection but allergan naturelle may not make a 460cc at all. They are all slightly different, then there are different profiles etc. I would trust your surgeon to give you what you want, but to make sure he understands I would give him photos of boobs you like so he can see exactly what you are looking for.

I have pictures on a memory stick to take with me as I can't print them at work and the printer out home has run out of ink! Ooops!
