Right I have booked now I am trying to organise, everything really - including all the christmas shopping!!
What hints, tips & advise can you share? What would you do differently? Do you have any regrets?
any thoughts (good & bad) would be much appreciated

Re: If you knew then what you know now ...
Congratulations on booking your BA! If I knew what I know now, I'd have had it done years ago!!! lol. No really, I love love love them. NO regrets at all! I would perhaps have gone a bit bigger but thats just me being greedy. lol.
I would also say, I totally underestimated how little I would be able to do with my arms for the first few days and hubby hadn't arranged to take any time off work. He ended up having to take the full week off so he could help me with the kids.
Other than that, I don't think I would change anything, it was very very straightforward. I certainly wouldn't worry at all about the procedure if I had it done again- I couldn't believe how easy it all was.

I would have gone 25 - 50ccs bigger. Just b/c you have to go through all the aggravation of healing (not that it's too bad, but a month - month 1/2) so I should have gone bigger.
Other than that, I'm SOOOOOOOO happy and wish I had done this 10 years ago!!!
good luck girlie!

Re: If you knew then what you know now ...
Hey!
Pre ba I wish I'd listened to the girls on here when they said there was nothing to worry about, it's so much easier than you could ever imagine, and nowhere near the amount of pain I was expecting. I would much rather have a boob job than a tooth pulled, no question about it!
You're pretty restricted with your arms afterwards, putting a jacket on yourself, opening doors, flushing the loo etc! Just listen to your body and you'll know when you're doing too much.
As hard or as frustrated as you feel the first week, just think the next day you could feel so much better... Day 7 I was slightly fed up, day 8 I was so so soo much better and I could manage alot more on my own and felt better in myself.
You will feel really bloated from fluid and the ga, it does go down!
If you're an overnight case then pack light! You don't need half the stuff you think you do!
Post ba, do not sit on the floor/in the bath any other way than kneeling - you will not be able to get back up lol.
I know i said the pain is pretty minimal, its more like discomfort, but try and avoid sneezing or coughing at any cost!
Good luck sweetie! it's such a lovely experience, it really is :)

I can't stress enough...when you put those "falsies" in pre-BA, they'll look HUGE but they feel half the size once they're inside you!!
I almost went with 350 and at the last mo changed to 375. wish I'd done 400 or 425.
Everyone said it and I didn't believe it.
Not that I'm not happy though!!!! I am....just wish I'd gone a bit bigger! xx

Pussycat , sitting on the bathroom floor.....that made me giggle! one morning I couldn't get out of bed, hubby had to pull me up. Bad morning boob & inability to use my arms!
So true though, first week I found frustrating more than anything as I couldn't reach things or unscrew tops or put on a top myself. Quite funny looking back really. Def by week two I was back to my usual self! Xxx

I was like Nikita really no probs , in fact i got told off for taking myself to the toilet in hospital without ringing the bell, and everytime someone came in t check me i was out of bed getting magazines out my bag or taking pics of my boobs in the bathroom mirror!!lol The best experience ever xxx I would av gone bigger if i could but had biggest that would fit my bwd so no regrets there and everyone says they are great on me so i'm happy. Haha I was same up and down like a yoyo nurse caught me taking myself to the toilet and was not impressed especially when I flushed an did the taps myself! Strange how us girls who have had mr m have found recovery so easy do u think this could be to do with the way he carries out the procedures? X

I think maybe it could be the way he does things Nikita, I must admit i've not heard of any bad recovery with his patients! I didnt get any bruising at all and not really any swelling either which i found quite strange (from what i remember of ur pics u didnt either. xxx

Re: If you knew then what you know now ...
I'm feeling really good. I went without a bra a couple of nights ago as i was told i could sleep without one from 2 weeks but woke in night and put one on cos they were aching (esp rightie!) I think it helped them drop a little as they look better now tho so am gonna just do it for an hour or so in eve to begin with when im in bed watching tv, get used to it gradually!!Ur looking fab by the way xx

Haha, omg, that happened to me like 4 days after my BA...kids were gone, hubby was at work...had the house to myself so I figured I'd take a nice warm bath...it was nice and all until it was time to get out. I swear, I was like a turtle on its back trying to get out of that tub without falling. I couldn't pull myself up or grasp onto anything to get myself out of there. I finally managed to get myself out, but thought to myself, if I ever do this again, I'm definitely keeping help around lmao!

Re: If you knew then what you know now ...
Yeah, it sucked pretty bad...I thought I'd be able to use my leg and lower stomach muscles to just get myself out, but nooooooo...yup, turtle on its back, that was me...I was flobbing around everywhere just like that trying to get out...I was like 'let me try this way...nope." "ok, this way...nope." argh! Looking back, it was hilarious!
