Bad Timing
I'm just about four weeks out from my op (breast lift and tummy tuck) and I've been so looking forward to not having to wear a compression corset all night anymore and being mostly back to normal but what's gone and happened? I'm pretty much sure that I have an infection in my left breast. That leftie doesn't like me :heehee: It's always been the smaller breast, I had an abscess in there when I was feeding, it bled all night after my initial op, it's trying to over-granulate the scar at one end and now this... I'll contact my nurse and try and get it looked at but I'm pretty sure there's a problem and I'm not best pleased I thought that four weeks out I was just about in the clear.

Re: Bad Timing
I'm sorry to hear this b4eve, I know you wanting to get back to 'normal' and enjoy your new boobies now that it's been a month. I would see nurse as qucikly as possible to get it sorted, it might be easily fixed with antibiotics xxx

Re: Bad Timing
No infection but what I do seem to have is a small seroma collecting at one end of my leftie infra-mammary scar. This is causing local inflammation (and discomfort). I had an appointment next Monday anyway (to check in on how the granulation problem at the other end of the same incision is doing) so hopefully it'll be improving by then or, if not, I'll be seeing my surgeon
Thank-you all for your best wishes
