Uneven boobs, what's the wait when they drop?
Hi girls
I am 4 weeks post op tomorrow. One of my incisions has been cut lower than the other, and after 1 week that boob had dropped and settled. The problem is the other one is exactly the same as it was straight after surgery, leaving me with one very high and round boob an another much lower and natural looking. Because the left one dropped so quickly, I'm worried that the right is showing no signs of moving and won't drop at all. Could it be that the pocket has been cut too low on one side and they will never even up? Or is the difference in the times normal? I am really starting to get concerned now, they look noticeably different and I can't stand to look at them at the moment.

Re: Uneven boobs, what's the wait when they drop?
I have no words of wisdom for u hunni but I do know what u r going through. I'm the same 1is bigger than the other and the right 1 started to feel strange a couple of weeks ago! So I went back to c my ps and my right implant isn't sitting in the pocket! I mite have to have a reop to put it right!
Like u I can't really bring myself to look at them at the mo and they r making me feel miserable.I hope by the time I get to the 6 mth stage they wud have evened out and settled properly, I really don't want to go through this again :(
I hope it sorts itself out for u aswell hunni xx

6 months maybe a little longer. It takes a year to fully heal. You should start to notice changes week by week and month by month. Too early to worry.

Thanks girls, Natty am so sorry to hear you might need reop, what a nightmare, I def would have thought after 4 months they'd be settled even if there were size changes going on. I hope things all sort themselves out for you hon. I spoke to my nurse this afternoon and the surgeon will see me Thursday so hopefully he can sort out whether or not I need a breast band. I know it's still early days but I don't want to leave it too late in case there is a problem, as I start a new job in 3 weeks and can't take leave for a reop. Lets hope we both get things sorted! Thanks x x
