Uneven healing! Empty Uneven healing!

Post by NikkiJaneW 29th November 2012, 11:44 am

Hi Girls,

Hope everyone is well!

Im now 5 days post op, my left boobie feels amazing ,dropping into a gorgeous slope, no pain in scar, not too tight, got the little shooting pains and electric shocks going on so i know the nerves are all coming back to life....its all good. My righty is playing up, scar keeps having stabbing pains, boob is still very tight and high, feels bruised all over and just so much more tender than my lefty and got no nerves springing back to life yet?

I know boobies drop and soften at different rates but how about healing? Is it the same rules too?

Is this normal?

Got my check up and stitches out tomorrow but really don't think rightys stitches are ready to come out yet.

Any advice appreciated, getting a little worried as they feel so different!

All completely normal hunny, don't worry. You've had two separate operations one on each boob, the righty has just incurred a bit more trauma than the lefty and therefore taking longer to heal. My lefty is still numb and insions are still stabbing pain 8 weeks on...

It's totally normal sweet x

Nikki - I have found that my righty is giving me more trouble than lefty, just have to keep reminding myself that I have had two operations not one. They seem to be catching up with each other slowly xx

Dome worry about it lovely. It's possible one breast suffered more trauma than the other as the surgeon tried to fit the implant hence one breast healing faster than the other which had a little more trauma. Xx

Mine are unders hunny. I'm sure you'll defo achieve the look with overs I've got a really gappy cleavage no breats tissue and no uppee body fat just a very bony chest... so it's taken a lot of cc and xhp to get this!! Lol x

Well you certainly don't have a gappy cleavage now!! lol Its amazing that you have 800cc, when you imagine that size you'd presume they would look 'oversized' on someone with your tiny frame but they look perfect (imo). Is that because xhp don't measure as wide?

Already said to my OH that in 4-5 years i may go for a higher cc too!! :heehee:
Boob greed already!!!

Yes the width is small as small as the 620cc but the projection is over 1.5 cm higher.

I have a very small bwd and ribcage and yes I am quite petite, but they don't look oversized for the size they are. Some ladies have achieved the same as me with only 380-400 something cc and yours look as big as mine! It's just I had absolutely nothing to start and I have no fat on my chest it's just skin over bone ! So starting from scratch the 800 s have taken me to a decent size. !

Yours poking absolutely amazing though nikki, they really do imagine them in wires wowzzas! Boobs x

Nikki they will look awesome in normal bra's, they look great in your Avi. My lefty still has a light covering over the scar. It has taken longer to heal . The size is evening up now . My nipples look in a better position too x I notice positve changes every week. I had unders , so early days Hun x

Thanks Jakki, Im looking forward to getting these bad boys in some normal bras!! lol. Your bra in your avi is gorgeous!! Can't wait for that. Iv just got to be patient (not one of my strongest traits lol)

Had a few little vibrating, and tingling feeling in my righty this afternoon though so really happy about that (sound a weird thing to say but means its coming to life so im well happy lol)

Mrs Ball....i cannot wait to get into Wires!! Its nearly as exciting as the actual surgery!! lol. So many mile stones to pass! The surgery is only the beginning! I underestimated those parts of it before surgery! I think a lot of girls do!!

Once again, thank you ladies :flowers:

I think they also say that your dominant side takes longer to heal anyway so if you're right handed your right boob will take more time because this is the side you will compensate with if that makes any sense? Give You x x x
