Uneven boobs :(
Hey, I noticed about three weeks ago that my right breast is higher and firmer than my left. I thought it would have settled by now but it's exactly the same. It's starting to annoy me now, I've tried being patient but nothing has changed at all. My left one looks great and is really soft.
I pointed it out at the 6week check n the nurse said to mention it to my surgeon at 12weeks. She doesn't think it's anything to worry about, but she's not the one with expensive wonky boobs!!
Did any of you find one took ages to drop and soften or do u think I'm Right to be concerned? X

Re: Uneven boobs :(
Hi,
They tend to drop and settle at different rates so don't panic, they will both even out in time. You are usually advisd that you should treat each boob as if they have had there own seperate op so will heal, settle etc at different rates. So try not to worry, they will look fab soon enough xx
Happy healing x

Re: Uneven boobs :(
My right is bigger and looks nicer but my left isnt so good . When I was talking to the nurse about she told me that my surgeon is left handed and when he operates is alot stronger on one side so that side tends to have a little more trauma and can take longer to settle. No sure if that helps as they say most swelling is gone by 6 weeks.

Re: Uneven boobs :(
are you right handed babe? if your using your right arm/hand more (if it the dominant one) then its not uncommon for the right breast to be higher and take longer to settle. I found this, im sure eventually it will drop. Try not to use your arms much for a few days if you can (hard i know!) and see if that helps?

Re: Uneven boobs :(
im going through exactly the same thing. righty is higher with the nipple looking much lower.....lefty if fine but with no feeling in the nipple or below. along with this, my scars are different. on my right the scar is right in the crease and the left ones scar is on the underside of the boob/not in the crease....does anyone else have their scars set in different places? i really hope it evens out over time :/

I have the same, my left is bigger then my right. Where my scars are, it is very uneven, but i know its just time in letting the implants changing, so i dont look at them. I have a look once a week when taking pictures. x

Re: Uneven boobs :(
Phew, at least I'm not the only one. I'm almost 8 weeks po. I kinda got it into my head that everything has gone too well n this is what will b my boobie downfall. Lol.
I am right handed so hopefully jen86 you're right and it's nothing major, just that I use this muscle more.
I'll try and be more patient, although it's not easy.
Another thing, on my right scar there's like a ditch in the incision. As though it's been pulled from the inside. It's the kinda shape you imagine when a brolly has blown inside out if u no what I mean... Apart from that the scars are really smooth, no bumps at all. Do u think that will sort itself out in time?
Thanks for the replies girls. I'll try (really hard) not to worry about my odd boobies. X
