Pre op appointment?
Hi girls, I am due to have my BA on 31st October and I have read that some clinics want you in before hand for bloods etc. Does that apply to everybody? I had my last consultation 3 weeks ago and my PS told me everything I needed to know and I am happy with everything we agreed on. Do I need to go in again before my BA day for anything else as I haven't been told if I do!
Thanks x

Re: Pre op appointment?
Hi hun, No you only really need to go back if you wish to discuss sizes again. You will see your PS on the morning of the surgery to double check everything & they will do all your obs there pre op. x

Hey Kizzy, some places will do your pre op on the day of your surgery. Quite often its not bloods but height, weight, blood pressure and going through your general health/medical history etc. Who you going with hun?

Re: Pre op appointment?
Hi, thanks. I was getting a little worried that I would arrive on Monday to be told they cannot go ahead because I should have already had my bloods etc done!!! Just nervous now. I'm going with MyBreast at the Fairfield Clinic In St Helens.

Re: Pre op appointment?
Hi Kizzy,
I'm good thanks hun just a bit of discomfort & feel quite swollen and tender. But the co-codamol they give you for after works wonders!! Trying to get as much rest as possible whilst hubby is off work.
How are you feeling about Monday hun? It's an amazing experience which you will really enjoy! xxx

Oh good, glad it went well. I've just read your story, they sound lovely there. I hope I don't have to wait all day! I'm ok just a little nervous as it all feels real now. My bags almost packed and my sports bra's arrived this morning!!!

Re: Pre op appointment?
Not all places do bloods, maybe it all depends on the clinic or the ps. I've had my pre-op but didnt have bloods, so i wouldnt worry hun. x x
