How many get ripples in the cleavage?

This is my main worry now. I have very little tissue atm,and what I do have is very thin. I blame my 4 children who sucked me dry!

Anyway,I'm only having 325HPs,but the PS has said we "have to hope" the chest muscle will hide all the implant edges,or I'll get rippling in my cleavage. I don't mind a bit at the sides,but I haven't seen any cleavage-ripples (other than the really bad ones!) and can imagine them looking terrible in bras/low-cut tops.

Has anyone else started off really small (not just cup size,but tissue quality),had a reasonably small implant and had cleavage ripples? Are they really unsightly?!

i have barely any breast tissue and very thin muscle coverage, but the cleavage is ok. Can see slight ripples to the side if you look closely, but thats all. I dont think the cleavage is where they happen usually

Phew,that's good,especially as you had a bigger implant than me! I thought cleavage ripples were quite uncommon too,but my surgeon has put the wind up me a bit! Thanks.

hun are you having saline, silicone or Cohesive gel implants. the cohesive gel implants are form stable and has a lower risk of rippling. Have a look on youtube and search cohesive gel breast implants, they show how it works.

Cohesive gel. That's why I'm a bit freaked really I think,I thought that by having them,and having unders of a reasonably small size I'd be well protected against it. Maybe he's just trying to press home the most likely things to go wrong...I don't know!

As far as I know the cohesive gel implants have less chance of rippling.

i have cohesive gel...and i can feel rippling on my left breast on the inside (cleavage side) but only when i lean forward and i cant see it so doesnt bother me to be honest. having full unders i didnt expect to get this but no one is guaranteed not to get it. its a risk we take. but like i say, it doesnt bother me. im fortuate that it can be seen :)

I have cohesive gel, unders, 500cc hp's. I started out with very little tissue and a size 34aa...I can feel rippling to the inside left boob. I just noticed this about a week or two ago. It doesn't bother me much because I actually expected it since we went with a bigger implant and being so petite and all. I still wouldn't change a thing.

hi hun, i was a 36 aa before the op with harldy any breast tissue at all, i had 330cc unders and am a 34dd now. im 3 months po and dont have any rippling at all yet hun xxx

Oh no, this is not good. I have unders with cohesive gel as well, I really hope I don't get rippling. i had losts of breast tissue beforehand, so hope this will count in my favour.

I am still breast feeding atm (ands only a 30-32c) but before I only had tiny little non-boobs! So I dread what will be in a few months after the mummy-dinnies train has left the station nope

...I will have very thin tissue I imagine. I think most unders they talk about are dual plane, not actual full unders so they can still bottom out and stuff..? I'm a bit worries but cricky! rippling as well! :doh:

Truth his you never know, I think he just wants you to know the whole deal to prepare you incase...but I bet you wouldn't regret it even if there was a little bit of a ripple! boobsign

A lot of it probably has to do with the size of the implant as well. I am a very petite person that had very little breast tissue and I had a big implant. So the bigger the implant, the more chances of me feeling it. I don't mind really. It doesn't bother me...

I can feel slight rippling on the inside of my right but cant see it.. hoping it doesnt get worse :-/ I had euro sillicone and quite a bit of tissue to start with. xxx
