Re: ripples ?
I dont think its true that it happens to everyone, i dont have any. I think its more common in thinner people with over the muscle implants as theres only skin between the implant. Some people only get it in certain positions and it doesnt bother them as its barely noticable, it just looks like tiny creases. Some cases can be worse than others, try googling 'rippling in implants' on google images. I think its less common in under the muscle implants as the muscle is covering the implant and also if people have more body fat or breast tissue already covering the chest area xx

Re: ripples ?
I think it happens to most women...well thats what my surgon told me & I get it if I lean forwards with no bra on but you can't see it you can only feel it.
Some people get it really badly & you can see it but i think its then something would need to be done to correct it.

Re: ripples ?
I've noticed it a couple of times when I've leaned right over, but it's not visible - I just feel it a little at the sides. I had hubby inspect and he said i was imagining things, so I guess it's not obvious to others :D

Re: ripples ?
It can happen sometimes, mostly with overs where there is not enough tissue to cover the implants. It can also happen with partials and unders where there the implant isn't covered by the muscle. I am one of the lucky ones and I don't have it, but my skin is thick and I had a little breast tissue to cover the implant.
Re: ripples ?
I dont think thats true, cant really understand why your surgeon said that. I had my first implants for 6 years (unders with very liitle breast tissue to start) i ve never had any rippling. There no telling wether you will or you wont. Its something that could happen but its not something everyone has xx

Re: ripples ?
I started off a A cup with very little breast tissue and had partial unders, I could feel the ripples at sides of my outer breasts but not see them. To be honest I dont think anyone can say for sure whether rippling is gonna be an issue, visual or not untill settling has occurred. I believe your sugeon can only tell you if you its likely to occurr....xxx

Re: ripples ?
To be honest i dont think most girls even notice if they do have slight rippleing......... only found mine by chance a few months after my op when i had no bra on & was leaning right over( so they are free dangerling!) & even then sometimes i feel it sometimes i cant & i felt it slightly on the insides of my boobs but like i said you cant see it & the only way i can feel it now is to get my boobs to dangle & lets face it how often do we do that?
My surgon told me its really commen to get very slight ripples is acceptable But rippleing can become a complication if its really bad, you can see it when your upright & take your bra off & this is normally caused by not enough breast tissue covering the implant so when the implant ripples your skin is so thin you can see it.......so i guess its more comment in thin people with not much fat upto.
Mine really dosnt bother me and i had little breast tissue, large implants and im very skinny uptop with little fat around my chest .ribs, shoulders & arms ( i carry all my weight in my butt & thighs lol)
