Ripples Empty Ripples

Post by Tamz 5th May 2011, 7:30 am

I know its early days, but my surgeon warned me he was concerned of rippling with my new boobies. My left is fine and is feeling lovely, nice and soft to touch. My right though, I can feel ripples across the top and what I can describe as like a fold of the implant, creating a hard nodule that feels like plastic at the bottom. You cant SEE the rippling, but I can definately FEEL it when I run my fingers over it. Im fine with it if it stays so that its not visible. Anyone else have rippling they can feel but not see? And the pea at the bottom - will that disappear as they settle into the pocket? x

Yup.... quite a few of us can 'feel' some rippling sweetheart, if I bend forward, I can feel rippling along my inside cleavage, like yours though, it's NOT visible and being visible is the only time rippling would be a problem.

As you can only 'feel' it and not 'see' it hun, I'd put it out of your mind and just enjoy your boobs.

The pea you're feeling, this may be a spitting stitch coming through, which often start feeling like a pea shape as the stitch works it's way to the top, keep an eye on it hun and if it's bothering you or becomes red and sore, just make an appointment to see the clinic nurse, it NOTHING to worry about but may just need the stitch helped out with a little snip. There's no pain involved involved at all and once the stitch is out, it heals almost immediately! xx

Thank you Cookie. Though the pea shape is not near where my stitches are, would it be internal? It is to the bottom left of my cleavage, and really feels like the edge of the implant, folded slighlty. Odd. Ill just keep an eye on the rippling and try not to touch too much and worry myself!! Thank you xxxxx Give You

Ohhhh I dunno then, it's possible you are feeling the edge of the implant, I wouldn't worry though sweetie, it doesn't sound like anything you need to panic over but if it's still there when you go to see your nurse/surgeon next visit, just bring it to their attention for them to take a look at it for you. x
