Excited and a bit Hopeful x
I went for a second consult today with the reconstruction man and am feeling quite happy and hopeful that he can sort me out xx
I went to see the lovely James McD at the end of September and he spoke about the potential for me to keep my implants......he explained the procedure and was really lovely
I then spoke to Transform, and had a reallllllly long conversation with the compliance Manager about what James had suggested about keeping the implants, telling them that I'm feeling really nervous about having them removed completely and how they are going to be and was urged to go back and see the reconstruction man they had referred me too as Transform are really only happy to sort matters out via him................
So the last 2 weeks have been dreadful for me as I have been thinking about my options.........which were;
A. Fight with Transform for however much longer it will take to get my money back to go and see James and get him to fix me up so I can keep my implants.......
OR
B. Stick with the reconstruction PS who said explant both implants which I was not looking forward to at all.......No one wants old 'tea bag T*ts' do they??????
So I have basically travelled for hours and hours today back to see the 'reconstructor' who said he had spoken to Transform and they had briefed him about what I had said and he then went onto to say that I can keep my implants and he should be able to improve things using the same technique that James described....... he was a bit more cautious with his confidence than James, but he said he has lots of experience in reconstruction 'that's what he does' as he only ever tends to deal with the 'worst case scenarios' and so far for him, the ones he has fixed up have been happy xx
Phew, sorry about the long post ladies, but I am just feeling like there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that maybe, just maybe, dare I say that I may be a step closer to some 'better looking boobs'???.....................I really really hope so xx
Thanks for reading my essay and AGAIN, thanks for all your support girls xx I couldn't of got this far without you all to hold my hands xx

Re: Excited and a bit Hopeful x
This sounds perfect honestly. He seems to specialize in tough cases, and you certainly are right to not want to remove your implants after all that you've been through.
Your story has always really touched me, and you truly deserve some happiness after all of this. I have to believe that you will be sorted properly, if reconstruction surgeons can build breasts from nothing (like after a mastectomy) they MUST be able to give you a beautiful result.
xx

Re: Excited and a bit Hopeful x
That's good news... Hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel now?! Who is it you have been to see via transform? My surgeon is actually a reconstructive specialist, and he was saying to me the other day the ideal way of doing an uplift and implants is to put the implants in- let them settle and find their place, then do an uplift around them and do an 'internal bra' maybe this is the sort of thing you need?!
I hope you get your final results that you need and deserve- and I hope transform pull out all the stops to get you there. It's the least they can do after the way their surgeon has treated you!! Not so much in that it went wrong in the first instance (which is a scary enough prospect) but the way he treated you after!!!
Good luck x

Re: Excited and a bit Hopeful x
Ah well from what I've read of your nightmare, and from what my ps has explained to me, this should give you a great result. And hopefully you can put Khan, his vile treatment, and his mistakes, well behind you.
I am having an internal bra kind of done too- although my incisions will only be via areola. My surgery isn't for another 7 weeks, but I plan on doing photos after, that I'd be happy to share.

I really hope so hun xx I've had enough of him to last me a life time, I can tell you xx
Sounds like you are in really good hands too, and should get a great result xx
When I saw James Mcd he also said that this kind of internal hammock/bra gives a nice result xx

Fabulous news! I have been following you since I have been on here and its is so nice to see you are going to be able to get some satisfaction! You have inspired me to get off my butt and talk to my dr agian so that I can get my oversized pecs fixed!
What a relief it will be for you to just be able to think of something else other than your boobs!
