I couldn't go for the first 4 days either but thx to AmyD and a packet of Senakot Max I was saved! Ha ha, hadn't even given the bottom wiping a thought..... No probs there, more embarrassing was having to leave the toilet unflushed after!

Yes my husband is the same. He went for a sh_t the other day when I was brushing my teeth, I couldn't stop gagging on my toothbrush. Men's gas is akyaXs way worse than women's! x x x

Disgusting creatures... they smell more too, was in the gym earlier and it was busy, couldnt use a bench because there was sweaty stinking men everywhere!

havent read this thread before! I hadnt even considered this before my op - never found it to be a problem tho.
I think I would have sooner suffered and struggled to do it myself if I had found it difficult tho - sort of takes the magic out of things a bit when you've had to let them wipe your ar*e hasnt it??
I think Ill save that treat for him for when Im OLD
. By then DF will be used to the other lovely things I might be doing ... wearing crimplene pants, a wig, flicking my dentures in and out, buying jumbo packs of old lady nappies, shouting at the neighbours kids for nothing, collecting coupons, playing bingo, farting and blaming the dog etc etc .... only then might I let him wipe ....
or NOT - I just c a n ' t contemplate it. Would you chat while you are doing it? about the weather etc heehee.

Hadnt even crossed my mind that this might be a problem!
Cant see my hubby doing that it was an ordeal for him to change the kids nappies, that would traumatise him forever ha ha
