Hi hun, you'll have to talk to your PS about this. I was told that I'll be able to do some light exercise by the end of week two, no weight lifting for at least 4 weeks, and no picking up heavy items weighing more that 3kg (6lbs). I am however allowed to do squats without weights and do sit-ups after the end of week two, but only in moderation.

Its gonna suck as I enjoy exercise, it relieves a lot of stress.

Good luck

I am 7 weeks and I started running at about 6 weeks. I wore a really good sports bra and at first it tingled a bit but is getting better.

I was told 6-8 weeks for running and weights as I also do both. Got to start off slow and take it easy. I feel quite unfit already so it will probably be a slow process anyway!

So guys, I would say that we give it about 10 days before any exercise? Im going under, but I thought that I could still go to gym and focus on lower body toning after 2 weeks....is this wise?

Oooh glad it's not just me!! I was doing squats 2 days post BA, just slow and concentrated!! Some if the hardest squats ever. Have been doing bicep curls too but all kinetic exercises, ie; without the weights just the movements!! It was trendy in the late 90's, just using your own body weight as resistance!! Isolates the smaller muscles giving you lean, strong muscles allegedly. Desperate to start running/cycling tho.
