the perfect body .....
Hey post op girls,
This could be me being totally silly - or obsessd - wich ever way you want to look at it but since having my new boobies (just over a month ago) im kinda obsessd with getting the rest of me to look as good as my boobs! i started the gym today did an hour work out then 25 lenghs of the pool, (taking it slow like surgeon said). My body is coverd in strech marks due to my little girl i really hate them but think if i tone up they will be less noticible.
Did anybody else strive for the perfect body after getting perfect boobs?

Re: the perfect body .....
hi Barbie,
I TOTALLY agree with you, I feel the exact same way. I didn't lose all the weight I wanted to before getting boobies, just wanted to get them asap! So I'm still about 15 lbs away from looking truly fit - I'm going to start gently at the gym on Monday (supposed to wait at least 2-3 weeks) although I've been doing lunges and squats and taking daily walks already.
I can't wait to be where I want to be and then know that with each pound I lose my boobies will look that much bigger! (Instead of shrinking like before my implants!)
xxxx

Re: the perfect body .....
I got into fairly good shape leading up to my BA but have gone all wobbly after 5 weeks of doing nothing, I really only run and do sit ups so was a bit nervous of going out too soon as both activities are quite full on, I have ordered some level 4 maz support sports bras ready, may get on the cross trainer this week (no arms though) and start building up to running after my 6 week check. My surgeon said 4 weeks to run was ok but only if I was sure I was ok - how am I meant to know, I feel ok but paranoid I'll do some damage and won't be able to exercise before my next 10km race at beginning of Oct and my holiday at end Oct where I must be able to wear my new bikinis!

Re: the perfect body .....
I am completely the same. Have been on a major gym kick for the past year or so and made some big changes to my body and I'm sure it was a lot to do with the fact I knew I would be finally getting my boobs! It's killing me not being able to exercise at the moment but I have been doing a fair amount of walking and trying to eat healthily (well except for the first week after my BA which was a total write-off). I'm going to start doing some lunges and squats too I think, good idea alexandra :) My main problem is that all the stuff I like doing in the gym - kettlebells, kickboxing and weights - is the exact stuff I can't do for ages because of the stress it'll put on my chest muscles :( I'm not a runner really and can't stand being on the bike or cross trainer for hours. Still, just going to have to suck it up and get back to it slowly and carefully - I'm not doing anything that could mess up my new boobies! xx

Re: the perfect body .....
Lou, I'm same - mostly running and situps. I'm going to go back on the cross trainer (no arms) as well starting Monday. I need to get my heart rate up, and of course, watch the diet. It's so easy when I can't cook to get take-aways every night and I'm eating 6x the amount of fat and salt as when I cook. But I'm back to cooking now and trying SlimFast for a week or 2 just to jumpstart me.
Good luck chica I'm sure you'll look great in your bikinis - especially w/ your new fab boobies!!!
Red - I know I also love kickboxing and swimming, but am going to give those a rest for a few months, just to be on the safe side. I think with the elliptical (cross trainer) and the stairmaster along with diet, I should be able to slim down a bit, then kick it into high gear in the new year and have a kick-*ss body for next summer (and some sort of tropical holiday in March 2012!!!)
xx
