Boobie Blues
Hi ladies
Having such a down day and i could just cry my eyeballs out
I'm 9days post op now and i went to have my steri strips taken off, the nurse went through the whole do's and dont's and what i should be looking out for etc but to be honest i don't even like taking my bra and binder off never mind washing them!
They are so alien to me and i'm starting to feel really down about everything, is this normal?
I'm still very puffy from the GA and my wordrobe is limited i am do tempted to give my house a good scrub because it's killing me looking at it and although my hubby and kids help me alot i'm still not happy:roll: how long am i going to feel like this:shock:
what is wrong with me!! Sorry for being such a moan ladies

Re: Boobie Blues
Hi Josey - first of all, at 9 days post op, you should DEFINITELY not even think of giving your house a scrub!! Look on here at the threads of ladies who have had hematoma and you will see the danger of overdoing it - just take it easy!
I'm only 5 days PO myself, and haven't had the "blues" yet, but am told by the girls here and by my PS that it's totally normal.
I've felt super strange about touching them, washing them, etc also - they're new! Take a bit to get used to! But I'm sure yours are FABULOUS and that you put a lot of thought into getting them, and went thru all the pain, just imagine when you will be able to look back on this post in your fabulous new bikini and realize how happy they make you!
Chin up, and if you need to chat - we're all here for you always!
xx

Re: Boobie Blues
Should only last a couple of days hun. It will pass. It may take a bit longer to get used to your new boobs but they won't feel alien forever.
Re: Boobie Blues
Hiya hun, i have been the same uptill yesterday. I think it is also the GA leaving your body. I was soo moody and miserable i didnt want my husband near me. I just wanted to stay in the room on my own. Its perfectly normal hun. I had feelings of regret. But now im happy.
This will pass hun, I went out yesterday got a starbucks, was well needed and it made me feel better. Today i went for lunch, and put make up on and that was needed. The fresh air helped.I hate feeling helpless. xxx
