Hi girlies,

so...i've got my op in 2 days (eek!!) and i've started taking the herbal supplement Bromelain (on PS orders!) and it's day 2 of taking the supplement.

I did read before taking it that anyone with a an allergy to pineapple, tree or grass pollen, carrots, celery, fennel, bees, latex or flour should avoid this medicine,

I have an allergy to pollen, but found that I'm able to take the medicine with just a slight "itchy" sensation - not a full out athsma/allergy attack.

BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL any other girls w/ allergies who are prescribed this - read the fine print!

Yes, on the label it says "to take 3 days prior and for 7 days - for soft tissue injury from surgery/traumatic event"

but nikita, my PS prescribed and gave me this to take - i wouldn't suggest anything your PS doesn't approve!
