incision scar massage

Hi ladies,
Hiya Gals,
First, I have found this excellent link about Scar Massage on the Breast Augmentation information that I have found really informative:

My question is, when massaging (I'm doing it gently and have gotten permission by my PS) do you sometimes hear or feel a "pop?" I heard a few, and surprisingly, the lumpiness has already subsided. Not sure if they'll be back tomorrow morning, but I was just curious about what others have heard/felt when massaging their scars.

Yes moongal, you might hear a pop, it's just the scar tissue breaking down as you massage, so nothing at all to worry about hun. xx

No problem hunni, it does freak you out a little when you hear that popping as you break down the scar tissue, I kinda got addicted after a while as began to feel like bubble wrap after a while LOL xx

:-) I know what you mean!! Seriously, though, I the scars feel so much smoother! I now actually like grabbing my boobies! LOL. Before I would feel them and they would feel good except for the lumps... xoxo

I not been told to any kind of scar tissue massage at all ? I dont go back to see the P.S till november .
My scars are really smooth and not lumpy they look like a paper cut now only a little tender where the end of stiches where.
Am i ment to be massaging scar tissiue ......gezz it certainly dont sound like its nice lol xxx

Hi Mio,
Sounds like you were lucky and your incisions healed with no problem! Mine kind of "over healed," which caused the lumpy scar tissue underneath. I would say if they feel totally smooth and just look like paper cuts then you're in the clear! Congrats, huny!!!!
