fluffing - when, how much?
Hiya ladies
I had my ba a few dare ays ago! Whilst I love them I do feel they are a little on the small size. I'm worried that as they are swollen now, they will probably get smaller - which I really don't want. I got told about fluffling before my ba. At that point I didn't really want to know about it as I was so scared of being too big, but now I'm on the other side, fluffing sounds like a good thing!
When does it happen? Does it happen to everyone? And how much does the size normally increase?
Thanks

Re: fluffing - when, how much?
It can happen at anytime up to a year post op. It doesn't happen to everyone. The size can just fill out and look fuller and more natural or you can go up a cup size or more. I wouldn't worry this early post op. You have lots of changes to come.
Re: fluffing - when, how much?
Thanks for replying hun. I know they will change a lot, was just hoping to get some more information on what I could possibly expect. I asked the nurses at the hospital about "fluffing" and they said they had never heard of it. Seemed to be mentioned quite a lot on here though. I appear to be having similar feelings to a few women - have I gone big enough/they are smaller than I thought etc. Not unhappy just surprised Id feel like this, as all I did pre-op was stress about being too big. Even on the day of my surgery I got the surgeon to reduce the size again as I was worried. Now I love the size they are but defo don't want them to go any smaller. I think it would be fab if I did fluff! :) xxx

When I get home I'll post a link unless someone else can do it. Cookie found a great diagram which shows what happens with dropping and fluffing
Re: fluffing - when, how much?
ok thanks. Did you fluff with yours? Is it more normal with unders? And is it usually more of less than a cup size? Also is it after about a year - or before that? xxx sorry for all the questions xxx

there is the link I promised, also my boobs seemed to change week by week, they looked bigger every month but didn't increase in bra size until 7-9 months post op and this was just one cup size for me.
There is a pic here of me early post op and my avatar is of me now.

Re: fluffing - when, how much?
Hiya
thank you so much for showing me that and writing back to me. My boobs look the same as your sportsbra pic. If theres a chance they could end up looking similar to your avatar pic then thats great. Im still really happy as they are bigger than before. You have really reassured me and seeing so many other women in the same position makes me feel better, especially those who did drop and fluff. I have pics on the [link removed] website which I am happy to share. Not sure how to put them on here though - not great with computers :/
Thanks again, really really appreciate it xxx

Re: fluffing - when, how much?
Sorry, one last question... does dropping and fluffing occur with anatomical implants too? I know they already have the natural "dropped and fluffed" shape so will they still do this in the normal healing process? I have some slight upper fullness - that isnt normal with fully healed anatomicals, but I cant tell if this is just swelling or if this is where I would end up dropping?
Thanks
Thanks
