plz help with choice of post-op bras
Hi,,i'm 13 post-op and every bra from primark,,jjb sports,,asda and m&s( which were all recommended by my nurse to try) are hurting me in 1 way or another! Too small//tight etc! I went to m&s and was measured after having my sttiches out 4 days ago..I measured at 34c and was told by the "measurer" that it was deffo my size ,,but it's now hurting me too!! I feel it like "slipping" if u like up my chest,,but when i look it's actually in the same place as it was and hasn't moved...I don't know what to get next as the marks& Spenser 1ns i got are proper post-op bras...It's frustrating me aswell as hurting and now i'm worried my implants are going to move or get damaged!! I have been very lucky in every other way,,no bruising at all,,tiny scars with no redness//bumps etc which was a gr8 surprise to my nurse,,i didn't take the arnica (think that's what they r called) tablets to reduce bruising...I'm a tiny frame and i'm worried after what i have escaped (with bruising etc) that i'm going to end up with probs if i don't get bras that fit properly!! Any ideas plz n ty!! xx

Re: plz help with choice of post-op bras
if you feel lioke its slipping, tha band is too big, so try a 32. and i would try a d cup too, cos if you go dont a band size, you need to go up a cup size. Hopefully one of the mods will be along soon hun to move this to the general section, as you will get more reponses there hun xx

There have been a few threads recently about measurements, especially band size, what is your actual rib cage measurement? just under the bust? old way of measuring would be to 4" if it's an even number and 5" if it's odd, this way seems to come up with a lot of incorrect sizing, new way is whatever your rib cage measurement is (round up if it's an odd number, so 29" would be 30") that is the band size you get. Or try adding just 2" to your rib cage measurement, once you've got your band size right you just need to try lots of different cups till you find the right fit. Hope that made sense.
