Bras post op
Hi Ladies
Do any of you know if the postop M&S bras are ok to wear after a BA? They are not padded and have no wire.
Many thanks

Hi
I was told to wear their total support bra instead of a sports bra. Check with your PS but should be ok x

I dunno babe, I know some ladies have chosen to wear post-op bras, but I myself stuck with the 'support'bra that was recommended by my surgeon. xx

Re: Bras post op
So are the sports bras no good. My surgeon hasn't told me anything yet and I want to get something in ready for next week.

Re: Bras post op
Give them a call. We all get told different things. I was not told to buy a sports one but a total support bra.
The main thing I was told is that they have to be supported and seporated with good sized straps.
It is worth calling you surgeon as you are having a reop and may need the compression more than someone on their first time perhaps.

Re: Bras post op
I would check with your surgeon hun. No harm in buying the bra if you want to, you can always take it back
Re: Bras post op
OK I didn't even know there was a difference between sports and support bras! lol
I was told to buy sports bras in a size bigger than I expect to be (I am hoping to be a DD/E so I bought 2 34F's) Both sports bras from Debenhams, level 4 which is high support. Hopefully I got it right!

They only have like 4 different bras on there lol though apparently the are designed for women who have had BA, not sure if they're any good or not though! (Clearly as I don't have any boobies yet! haha!)
