Kiwi - sorry to say, my ribs still feel a bit bruised, and just like you, I didn't notice the pain til after about a week (probably because I was being so careful around that area at first!)

Thanks for that hun! I knew I had read on here about them eventually feeling a part of you, but I couldn't really remember what the timeline was (and keep forgetting to do a search for it!). Random how the bruised ribs feeling pops up, huh? But also nice to know I'll progressively improve...

My BF had another good look today, only his second, and even though it's only been 2 days since his last look he was a lot more positive on them this time! The first time I had to try and not get upset, because he was really luke warm on them. It's weird, I got them done for me, and I'm really happy with them, but it still kind of brings you down a bit when your partner seems to feel ho-hum about them. Then today when he looked he was like "wow, they've actually changed since the other day... they are looking rounder at the bottom, flatter on top, and they look less stuck on...". We had a big talk about it and he explained how for him it was something that would take time for him to get used to, because he was so used to how they were before, and especially because he can't really touch them much at the moment, it's taking time for him to connect I suppose! MEN huh?!?

Ha ha, who knew men could be so deep aye Kiwi!! Ha ha, he'll love them once he doesn't have to be so delicate around them! xxx

Yeah, I think once he can have a good grope, he'll connect pretty fast!! I was quite gutted with his initial reaction, though. But I think giving it a couple of days, and him seeing them again, and seeing changes, now he knows that if they changed in 2 days, there are a lot more changes to come, so he knows how they are now isn't how they will be. I think the cone boobs freaked him out a bit... but feeling them get softer, and seeing them soften up a bit is helping. Thank goodness! Initially his reaction alone was starting to bring on booby blues!!

Kiwi - I think although us ladies are all OBSESSED with boobs right now men have been obsessed their entire lives so I can see how it would be a big thing for him right now. Even though I knew mine would look wierd Ive had a touch of the blues myself the last 2 days - then this morning in the shower I can see they have changed and feel a bit better.

Its good he is coming around, he will love them far more than you ever will soon!!! xx

yeah men have a constant fascination ours is quite new lol. I've got some feeling in my right booby today feels bruised but suppose any feeling is progress xx

Ooh Nikita - yes some feeling is good - but as I learned quite late yesterday ice packs are pretty good, I feel better this morning than I can remember so get em out early xx

I'm all done! Felt rubbish yesterday, but feeling loads better today. I'm covered in so many straps and dressings, I've no idea what they look like yet!

Feeling almost normal today! The trouble with that is that you end up over doing it and then wonder why you feel rough again!

Kiwigirl - you look fantastic in your avatar! I can't believe you're only 8 days post op - look really natural!

hey pea pod i'm only a day ahead and no what u mean about feeling normal i've felt ok from day after but notice after a few hrs of being out and about the need to nap kicks in lol xx

Oh, they don't look all that natural out of a bra!! I've still kind of got torpedo boobs!! They are a bit flat on the bottom and still a bit rounded on the top... but it is early days, and slowly seeing improvements :) But thank you for the compliment hun

Totally know what you mean about overdoing things as well. I was pulling those kinds of tricks about day 5... but now I can pretty much do what I would normally do (except exercise). Still a bit of morning boob going on, and they still don't 100% feel part of me yet, but improvements are still noticeable daily, so guess I can't complain, huh!?

i lent over earlier to get something and realised my left breast was being totally squashed and i was totally oblivious slightly weird still no feeling at all in left boob but can feel in right when i poke it lol xx

Nikita, that's so funny! I keep knocking things with my boobs because I'm not used to them being there! I wonder if the whole nap attack thing is because of the effort of carrying around the extra weight?!!

Kiwigirl, mine are completely torpedo boobs! I've got a lot of protective padding around my nipples, so they look ridiculous! I haven't ventured out into public yet, but there's a parents' evening at the High School this evening which I have to go to. Just hope I don't poke anyone's eye out!!

Morning ladies!!!

I went to see my surgeon last night over the pain, swelling and bruising. He said and I quote "Claire you had surgery on Sunday, its now Wednesday, what did you expect" and laughed, my reply... Well Mr Mahadev, I have never had anything like this done in my life, its my body and the only body I'll ever have, so I think I had every right to be worried!!!! It was all said in a jokey kind of way. I did feel a bit stupid like I was over exaggerating.



Feeling a bit better today, its just my left breast feels totally different to my right, my right is not as hard, has dropped more and I have more feeling in it. My left is still pretty numb, a lot harder than my right and i have this strange feeling in it, I can only describe it as a burning kind of sensation. I know its only a couple of days but Im so paranoid Im going to get an infection or CC in the left boob

Hi Girls, I'm all done!! so happy its all over and i'm feeling, just sore and tired. Will write up my surgery story when i'm less tired. Its the weirdist thing suddenly having boobs...i love it now i just have to stp my 2 year old from poking them lol

Anyones whos today or soon good luck and try not to worry as its all worth it and theres nothing like seeing a curvy body even when the bandages are on xx

It went well thanks, only saw the nurse but she changed the dressings and told me to keep them covered in tape to keep them flat. Apparantly my stitches are dissolvable so no painful removal!

She also reassured me that the shape will be normal and to trust the surgeon because he knows what he is doing!



Just taking a 5 min break at work :( - hows the nipple today?!
