Yes I know how you feel, up until today I hadn't even paid a deposit so it hadn't really sunk in!! I'm having a BA and doughnut lift on the left side. I'm excited but getting more nervous as it gets closer!! Although some days I just wish it was done already. I'm really happy with the hospital and my PS, so far they've been great. He's using a sizer so not to sure the exact size but from doing the rice test I've asked for around 300cc unders.

Hey there guys, am new here - have my BA scheduled for next week (22nd) though today i have woken up to one of my glands being swollen and its sore to swallow :-( do you think i should wait and see if it gets better over the next couple of days or should I just inform and reschedule now? thanks

I'd wait a few more days, you've still got the weekend to get better, try and get lots of rest. Give your clinic a call Monday or tuesday if you still feel poorly to see what they say xxx

Shell honestly it's not bad at all I'm 7 days had stitches out yesterday back to work today and I am a hairdresser so lifting arms all the time only been on paracetamol since day one x x

thanks Louise - think you are right, will give it a couple of days, plenty fluids and rest and fingers crossed i dont have to delay!

Sweetcarol - sorry to hear you've had some swelling - I didn't to be honest, but did you try just icing them 20 mins on 20 mins off? If it gets noticably worse over the next day or 2, then maybe call the clinic, but I think slight swelling is just maybe you overdid it that day.

All sounds good Lousie!whats a sizer? So did you pay? my pc was busy today so i'm paying tomorrow...oh yet another night of looking on the internet to look at more boob jobs....i cant wait but just am so worried about all the decisions on sizes and profiles!!

I am ok :)!very sore but i've done it :) so proud of myself just alreadyu hoping they aren,t too small lol will write up my surgery story maybe tomorrow xx

Gina - a size is to work out what size implants will look best, I think they fill it with fluid to work out the cc. Xxx

Well girls a little update from me, I'm doing so much better,
My skin has returned to normal now after the reaction to the strapping tape,
Going today to get my stitches out and to see if I can start wearing sports bras yet, it's funny that I've been braless since my op but PS wanted them to drop without support, left has definately dropped a bit but right is still very high

Also they are very cold, especially first thing in the morning - during the day they warm up a bit but when I touch them which is all the time they feel cold to touch-not sure if that's normal or not though!

HI girls, hope you are all doing ok. HEre is my update. nearly 2 weeks post op.... I am still very sore. CAn't lie on my side yet and still a bit swollen. Doing most things for myself now and have drove to work this morning for the first time. luckily I have a little bmw 2 seater roadster so its quite light to drive. I tried on a normal bra this morning for the first time too! I am wearing d size sports bras but have been worried I might end up a c, but my d cup bra seemed to fit lovely so that cheered me up! Bring on the dropping and fluffing I say. although I bet I won't get the same effect with concials. all in all I am happy, but maybe wish I had had another 50cc. If I had known my surgeon mould be removing as much macrolane as he did. I would have def gone a bit bigger to make sure I got a full d. Good luck to everyone this week x

Hi everyone, feeling pretty rough today so will leave it a couple of days to recover then write up my story, paracetamol and ibuprofen aren't quite doing it for the pain like the oramorph did!Thanks for caring ladies x

im 6 days post boobies x x there just completely numb???? also should i be doing anything to help them drop my left boobie hurts more than right x x

im nearly 2 weeks post op now and my breasts are still numb underneath they were completly numb to start off with but feeling is slowly returning especially to my nipples which feel like they are on fire ive been complaining too that my left boob hurts where as my right boob feels fine my left has also dropped slightly so this might have something to do with it so think what you are experiencing is normal x
