I'm feeling so much better today,
Still a bit if pain when moving but at least my skin has gone down after thd irritation from the tape,

Treated myself to a pedicure, manicure and had my hair done too, I feel human again!

Hi ladies, thought i would check in....I went for my 1 week check yesterday, which was all ok. I actually was allowed my first shower last night which was majorly weird. I i can usually wash my stomach and arms with no problem, all of a sudden there were these big lumps in the way! it was so strange. Other than that I am getting on ok. each day i feel a bit loser but I am getting quite a lot of soreness on one side just above the incision. They are also still quite swollen and sitting apart. My surgeon says its all normal and they will drop and soften within the next 3 months. Hope all you other post op girls are ok and good luck to anyone next week x

Definately good to get out of the house today but I was so tired when I came home I had to sleep for a couple of hours,

Oh and update on work-I walked round to see my boss on Friday and he saw I was still delicate and told me to take another week off if I need it, there's no rush in me returning, so I've got another week lazing about the house!!

I plan on sorting all my clothes out with the help of my little sister and then she's gonna help me do a boot sale in a few weeks to sell all my old stuff!

Hi girls I'm booked September 21 in Dublin. Have pre op on wednesday and am hoping I will feel comfortable after it. Ps has recommended between 340 and 360 based on my desire to be a d cup. I am currently a small b cup. I'm worried as although he measured me etc he didn't discuss ribcage .... Size etc should I just assume he gas taken all that into condideration. I want large and natural. Profile wasn't discussed either I think we still have alot to talk about! I am 8 stone 3 and 5 3 in height. I an going with a naturelle 25 year gel implant under the muscle. My biggest fears are waking up too big or too small and struggling with my 5 month old and three month old afterwards. Am delighted I found this forum Cheerleader

It must be so frustrating not being able to do everyday tasks we all take for granted. Ive been reading other posts regarding what you can do and what you cant do n Ive been like oh it wont be that hard, just reading your posts im like what the hella im not gonna be able to nothing lol I'll probably put about a stone on in the couple of weeks after Ive had it done just thru sitting my backside doin nothing lol

Yep I am soooo nervous now!!!!! excited at the same time as well, just hope it goes well and Im happy with them, I keep having seconds thoughts on whether I should just leave mother nature alone but what the hell Ive wanted this for yrs!!!!

Ive not started shopping for anything yet, my eldest son is going away on the 19th Sept with his school for 5 days son Im just getting all his stuff ready this week, prob start shopping for me next week!

Claire- I think the fact that you've wanted it for so long is what you need to focus on when you start to have doubts. Debenhams have a sale on their sports bras if that helps your shopping?I got a really nice one in ther today for around £17.50 instead of £22, one of the girls on here recomemded it to me and it does look good!I'm not having second thoughts on whether to have it, more just terrified something might go wrong and being nervous about it seems to be making me massively more stressed about other completely unrelated silly things that don't normally stress me so much so i'm REALLY hoping once it's done all my huge stressiness will go away!x

Hey girls! My preop is Tuesday and I'm scheduled for my BA on 9/30. I'm so excited for Tuesday because at my consult we didn't get into sizes, just what to expect during surgery, he took my measurements and we talked about the types of implants, placement and incision. So the last 5 weeks I've been searching for pictures trying to determine what size I should get. I'm a 34B now, breastfed 1 of my 2 children, 5'5-118lbs. I'm looking to be a small D. Hopefully the PS will let me go 400 or 425. I know I'm getting silicone because I have thin tissue and my PS was concerned about rippling with saline. I'm loving this site so far. Very informative. Loopylou - Yeah the 'gorgeous' sports bra is what i got, it has no seems which my ps said would be good incase of sensitive nipples after surgery, they do lots of colours :), an extra excuse to go shopping is always good!!I am REAAALLLYY nervous now, but in my final consultation yesterday my PS was really lovely & reassuring which has made me feel 10x better and i have complete trust in him which deffinitely helps!Not long for you either now though, how are you feeling?Nervous?Excited?xx
