4 days post op, strange sensation in my head!??!!!
I'm having the strangest sensation in my head, its like I am sensitive to light, I need to squint and roll my eyes...but I don't have a headache, its just so weird.
Did anyone else have this, also, my teeth hurt, like I've been gurning and my belly is massive and I'm burping a lot... Any advice? Xxxx

Re: 4 days post op, strange sensation in my head!??!!!
sounds like its all the build up of gases from the GA nikkie, my belly was huge, its just going down now and last night i had a huge attack of trapped wind from my right breat thru to my back and up thru my jaw, i lay in bed thinking i was having a heart attack but it was wind...when we have a GA all our body functions get shut down so i guess its just there way of getting going again......thats my theory anyway..hope it helps to know you're not on your own

I kind of suspect this is normal but I'm a bit of a paranoid girl so I think things like I've got brain damage from the ga! I'm terrible xxx

i'm 5 days and they seem to be doing well, the one thing i'm a bit disappointed in as i dont look much different in clothes at the moment, hopefully once i can wear normal bras ( which seems forever away) they will look bigger at least its all boob now and not padding, perhaps i'm getting boob greed already i am happy with the size really, its just the sports bra does'nt flatter them at all. i'm just a bit achy now so no real pain as such.

Think it's probably the g.a. and meds .. they do make you feel strange and block up the system. Bloating and constipation is also a result, you need to drink lots of water, and can take a gentle laxative like sennokot or diculax to get things moving. Do hope you feel better soon, try not to worry too much, it will be better in a few days and you will have fab boobies too. xx Take care

Mine are the same, they look massive when I've got nothing on. Husband's eyes nearly popped out when I flashed him last night (first time I had dared to open the fastenings of my bra & unleash the puppies).
Dress them & they don't look that much bigger than my pre-op ones. Think my bra must be a tardis, don't know where they go when I put them in there!!
Don't want them any bigger though, they'll be slapping on my knees by the time I'm 50 if they get much bigger.

Ditto Miss Ellie, mine dont look much different in clothes but take bra off and yep they are certainly there! My fiance is desperate to have a feel, I must get my act together and get some more pics up! I have stopped wearing sports bra in bed at night and they are soo much more comfortable now and getting softer. I hope by the time I reach 50 (not too long now) theywont be slapping round my knees! xx
